This works fairly well and easy to use. The cats don't like it. Where you can anchor using the pins do so as the smart cats will push it aside. Additionally, tie together the sections and cover a larger area for the best result.

They always find a way to get by them ive tried EVREYTHING to keep cats off certain things and they are smart enough to hop over or walk between.

I bought this Matt's in Amazon, because some cats used to come and do their business outside close to my bedroom window and I decided to buy this to try it and I surprised It's work great they don't come anymore . I'm happy with it.

I recently had a new neighbor with a cat left to roam and do as it wanted and nothing done about it so it started filling all my plants and garden with poop and urine leaving it all useless so after some failed attempts I decided to try these and so far its been working on the ones that have it. Not to mention I find them very useful for my strawberry plants in particular because it keeps them from growing and just ruining from laying on soil, instead they grow onto this. They are easy to cut into smaller pieces to make fit and very light weight. Not as sturdy as i hoped but could be worse. I didnt find the zipties or stakes of any use because I had to cut all my pieces into smaller sections or better shape and the stakes dont go deep especially in loose soil they have no purpose and only come with enough to use if left as is basically and same with zipties..i felt price was higher then it should have been for sure for these pieces of super thin plastic and for some reason snails seem to love them and get stuck obviously lol. But so far has kept cat out of soil so cant complain.

Just when I thought these spikes were working, I have now seen both my cats walking on these "spikes".There are other products with better spikes.These don't work!

My cat scratches and meows at my door all night every night and I have used the ssscat air sprayer for years to try and deter him. Even using that, I still will wake up when it sprays him, so it only helps so much. Now, for some reason the motion sensor is not working anymore (or he has figured out how to avoid it) and the scratching has started again. I bought the scat mats as an attempt to finally get him to stay away so that I can get a full night's sleep and I haven't slept this well in years. If you are having problems with your cat keeping you up at night, I definitely recommend this!
