This is a great pump. Strong, quiet, and durable. Also the legs a re long enough that it won't suck up small pebbles and jam the impeller, which is why I was replacing the old pump. Worth the money!

I had a 1/3 hp pump with 1 1/2 inch discharge for about five years. It started tripping the braker. So far this 3/4 hp pump with a 2 inch discharge is doing a grate job. I would definitely buy it again if needed.

This pump is very quiet and appears to work well. Time will tell if it continues to do so. I’ve used Everlast (Home Depot) and Zoeller pumps in the past, none of them last more than 4 years, some as little as 2 1/2 years. They don’t make them like they used to.Installation is pretty simple, but you do need to mount the float bulb on the side of the pump. Determining what height to do this is your only concern.

Used to pump out 2 septic tanks. Fitted an 8ft x 2" NPT pvc riser+elbow. Very useful way of lifting it out of the tank. It is very heavy/slippery when full of water because it is cast iron.Best have 2 people.

Purchased the 3/4HP pump hoping that it would be a lower cost quality sewage pump to replace a Zoeller. The piping was redone to accept the new pump. On start up the float would not activate the pump when the water reached the set level. Tried different floats and after checking out the pump it was determined that it pulls in excess of 10amps exceeding the 10amp rating of the float switch included plus others that were tried which were removed from currently operating pumps located in other basins. Most float switch have a 10amp maximum rating so even if the float supplied did activate the pump it would burn out quickly defeating the purpose why the pump was installed.. After pump was removed tried the floats and pump in a bucket of water with no luck. Contacted seller and a replacement pump was shipped..After installing the replacement pump and raising the water level it would not activate even when plugged directly in to a dedicated outlet bypassing the float. Both the power cord and the pump got extremely hot. Different 20 amp dedicate pump outlets were tried with the same results. As a final check the replacement pump was removed and tested in a bucket of water and again the power cord and pump would get hot to the touch. With 2 for 2 pumps having problems confidence in this brand has been lost and will not be taking the chance installing another one. Even if a 3rd pump worked as designed would have concerns regarding the reliability.
