Why has the oil skimmer stopped rotating?

Condition1: The filter is installed, but the oil skimmer isn't rotating.

Please verify that all parts are properly installed. If you have any issues, feel free to ask for assistance.

Condition 2: The filter is installed and run normally, but after 1 week the oil skimmer stops rotating.

This typically happens when the aquarium’s water level is too low or when there is trapped air in the oil skimmer pipe. Simply add some water or manually adjust the oil skimmer.

Aquariums are suitable for small fish and other small aquatic animals, such as bettas, miniature freshwater shrimp (like cherry shrimp), African dwarf frogs, snails (like apple snails or mystery snails), and zebra fish.

The filter worked normally at first, but after some time, it stopped functioning. Did I receive a defective product?

If your filter initially worked but suddenly stopped, we recommend trying the following: remove the rotating core for 5 seconds to allow sufficient air to enter the tube. Then, reinstall the rotating core. Check out the video above for reference.
How often should the aquarium and filter be cleaned?

It is recommended to clean the algae and stains on the aquarium walls with cleaning tools every 3 weeks, and to change 20-30% of the water to maintain water quality. The filter should be cleaned every month to ensure it functions properly.

The tank looks incredible l. I plan on keeping shrimp in it once it's cycled. The dimensions worked well for aquascaping it and the rocks and gravel that came with it came in handy. It is my favorite tank set up. The filter and light come with everything needed, and the cleaning kit has different attachments that will all come in handy. 10/10 best tank kit I have purchased.
