Originally purchased in 2019. I ended up losing the scissors so I’m back here. I stand by this purchase. Great value and product.

These are heavy, well-made tools. The scissors cut well. The one negative is that the sides of both tweezers are almost sharp, but for the incredible price I'm not surprised. A few minutes with a dremel and they'll be perfect. They are usable now.

Somewhat difficult to use and way bigger than I expected (I guess I didn’t think it would matter but I definitely should have checked the dimensions!). Still, the product was good quality and I would recommend it to anyone who prefers or doesn’t mind tools with the longer handles!

I use these every time I clean my aquarium. The scissors are very sharp and work great for trimming aquatic plants. I use the tongs to feed frozen blood worms to my fish. They are made of good quality and even come in a convenient storage bag.

Sturdy and simple tools with no fuss, at a great price. Could be slightly longer, my hands get in the water of my 10 gallon a bit when trying to use them effectively. But overall they do the job well.

A la 2a vez que introduje las pinzas a mi acuario (aún usándolo con cuidado) se separó en 2 partes como muestra la foto, es ofensivo, sólo traía 2 gotas de pegamento, me gustaría saber cómo pedir mi reembolso.

I got these to feed my juvenile axolotl and it has made it SO much easier. My girl, Willow, isn’t the brightest bulb ( but she is adorable) and axolotls have bad vision in general. Being able to hold a worm by the very end and essentially tickle her face until she snaps at it has been way more effective than just dropping them on her face with a toothpick like I was doing before. She eats way more this way, less bloodworms are wasted and it’s easier to pick them up it she drops them. I have actually seen her grow bigger, faster since feeding her this way. This also makes pellet feeding easier. Honestly I’ve only used the angled tongs so far and I’d like to find grips to put on the ends to protect her but while she’s so little and I hold the worm at the very end- it hasn’t been an issue yet thank goodness. I have a 29 gallon tank and when I use the and softer I’m sure my hand/arm will still get wet but at least not my entire arm. I would recommend this set. The quality is good- it’s definitely sturdy and heavy; if anything it’s a bit of a work out to squeeze the tongs together as long as I need to because Willow’s feeding take a while but not bad. I’m not paid to write this or anything- just an axolotl owner trying to help other axolotl owners. #axolotls4ever

This is my first aquascaping kit so I don't have anything to compare to, but they seem well made.

I am new at aquarium keeping. I've had my Betta (Mario) for 3-4 months and then last month started adding live plants in my 5 gallon. I've had so much fun that I added a 15 gallon and added plants (it was supposed to be for Mario because he's so amazing but things have changed - there was a sick Betta (Angelo) that called my name and he got the new tank...sorry Mario). These tools are GREAT!! I love that the sand shovel is two sided for different uses. I've used it to move gravel & substrate but also used the smaller size to help keep roots in place while I was pouring more substrate or placing rocks on/around them. I also used the larger size when I did a water change and decided to pour more substrate in some areas that needed it. It help to direct the flow of the substrate and I held some of the more flowy plants away from getting buried. I love the two different types of tweezers as well. The scissors are sharp and work beautifully. This has been a great additional and I feel a little more like a pro using them.
