The aquarium kit arrived late Tuesday and I set it up Wednesday morning. My baby eastern painted turtle arrived late Wednesday afternoon. The kit is perfect for new turtle owners, as it comes equipped with everything you need to get started; plus a couple small samples of freeze-dried food. My little guy didn't seem too interested in eating, but once I put a couple of the sample blood worms near him, he seemed to really like them. My kit came with 2 of the large lamps instead of one large and one small, but I don't think it's a problem. We keep our house pretty warm, so the water temperature stays consistent. Little Raphael loves basking under the lamps on his platform area. Yes - named after a Ninja Turtle - and it seems fitting as Raphael is the fighter and quick to action. I have caught little Raph having a couple zoomies, swimming like a crazy turtle all around his aquarium. I did buy a water heater to use in the winter when it gets colder out and inside.I would highly recommend this setup.

Was packaged very securely. Love the basking rock and fountain filter. My turtle is a happy fella with all the extra room he has now.

Thankfully the tank made it to me in perfect condition! The directions made set up clear and easy. As a new turtle owner I appreciate that this kit comes with everything I need as I continue to educate myself on all things turtle care. Morla is 2 1/2 inches long and this tank seems to be a perfect size for her until she grows out of it. I did notice that her water got a bit cloudy by the 3rd or 4th day (I'm guessing from the river rock dirt leftover after rinsing, food, and turtle poops) so I did grab a biological turtle habitat cleaner which has helped a bunch with clearing up cloudy water. I'm a newbie when it comes to filter performance and I've seen others say the filter the kit comes with sucks. I've been testing her water quality regularly and everything is staying in safe ranges so I'm thinking it's doing it's job. In conclusion I definitely recommend this kit if you're a new owner with a small turtle!

It’s shipped quickly, I love all the cool things it came with making this such a great deal. It’s sturdy and comes with literally everything you need. My turtles look so happy. I didn’t use the small pebbles it comes with because my turtles were swallowing them.

This setup for aquatic turtles is perfect. It is large enough to let them swim and bask all they want. The bridge is a really nice basking platform. The filter is really great! My tiny turtles can climb it! The fake plant laid sideways gives them another place to rest, in the water. The lights provide the perfect light and temp the turtles need. I truly believe this is a great value.

The filter system stopped working within the 1st few weeks. We were very disappointed with this. The tank looks great with all of the pieces that came with it, however - it does NOT work!!! We were so very disappointed to spend this much money on a product that proved to be garbage.

The tank is exactly what I was looking for my 2 turtles, they can move around more freely and it's appealing to the eyes.

I received a not-working UV light bulb and reported the issue right away, but didn't get any response within 3 days.The size info in (cm) is completyly wrong, it says Item dimensions L x W x H 86.2 x 40.2 x 44.9 centimeters, while it actually is much smaller.As this product includes many items, and only one of them doesn't work, I don't want to repalce all of them or return it just because of one. But that doesn't mean my issues not deserving handling.Very bad experience for this purchase, actually the worest for me.Think about the vendor before you buy it!

did not buy this for an aquatic pet, instead for my little leopard gecko!!! its PERFECT!!! spinach is loving his new home sososo much, and there is SO much space, was super easy to put together, I did not use any of the aquatic stuff but you genuinely get your moneys worth, im keeping it around just in case though.not 33 inches like the item description says (only saying this because I was worried it wouldn't fit on my shelf, it did.), but its still huge so what's the worry.I also did not use the lights it came with, but am keeping them as spare so if I have trouble with those I will come back to edit my review.the last photo attached is a size comparison of this one and a starter terrarium I got at petco!

Don't get me wrong, at this price you get a huge discount. You would spend a little more than $200 at the local Petco store for all this. Only issue is the rock filter, it takes up almost a third of the tank and my turtles can't even use this space up top of the filter (way to high and over exceeds the max water level.) You would have alot more room if you buy the same power capacity filter in a filter form instead of a camo rock. Filter is not as strong as the regular ones as well, has small holes on the bottom and using 2 medium size filters which I think is overkill and explains the massive size of the rock filter. I see other videos and pictures of turtle owners that submerge the basking bridge leaving the turtles a place without a dry dock. I understand this because the rock filter has a min and max water level for the filter to work properly and at the min water level, the basking bridge is underwater. What I did was has some river rocks on the bottom of the bridge where the bridge levels up about a half inch which is way above the min required water level.Overall it's a great value, I will definitely use this rock camo filter in a larger tank when the time comes.
