I down size from a 20 gallon tank to this five gallon is really nice would recommend the product

Had doubts when ordering since this is a new product but thought I'd give it a shot because it was such a pretty tank. When it arrived I was looking at the filter and saw it was set up as a combination power filter as well as a power head, great idea , right? Wrong, first of all the directions are meaningless. The tubing that is supposed to "trickle" water over the filter media does not fit in the allotted space if you use both the carbon and ceramic rings, the lid will not close. After removing the rings, the lid would close but no water flow through the tube. Tried adjusting the aeration valve from 0 - 100% and still nothing. Finally I removed the inner tubing, put the ceramic rings back in and presto, both filtration and air flow. Great right?After getting the filter figured out, set tank up, put fish in and the tank looked great. I set it up on a Friday, today is the Thursday after and I have spent the past 3 hours moving all the fish to other tanks(which are now overcrowded) to disassemble the tank because is had leaked all over the counter and I had to reseal the whole tank. The leak was slow to show because of the colored cardboard that was put on the bottom of the tank, the cardboard had to saturate before you could see pooling water. You can't remove the cardboard because it is under the frame. Hopefully it will dry without buckling or molding.Hopefully after all I have done the tank will hold water but it will be several days before I know for sure. Guess a week long leak test this time?
