The material of this roller is very dense and works very well. I expect this will work for a long time and hold up well for a long time. I like the texture that's on the roller, the little bumps give it a good texture.

The material is too hard, making it very uncomfortable to use, even painful at times. The surface texture is not well-designed, causing it to slip easily and reducing the massage effect.

I guess the dimensions were listed and are accurate, but I was still caught offguard with just how little this was. I use foamrolling mostly on my IT bands, and this doesn't work great for that... it's a little too small since my thigh is always shifting a little with each back and forth. I know some people like to use on lowerback too, and I can't imagine this being a good size for that. But aside from that, the firmness is very good (better than my old foamroller that is starting to break down) without being TOO firm. I have another one that has some sort of hollow PVC core, and that thing is hard as a rock and too painful to use. This one strikes a good balance. It's a good value too, and taking up less space in the home gym is a benefit of being smaller

This massage roller is the perfect size for me. I saw that others say it's too small or too soft but I think it's quite firm in my opinion. It's made of very dense foam and doesn't bend under the weight of any of my body parts. It's nearly 12" long and nearly 4" wide—the exact right size for my neck which is what I'll be using it for. If you are a larger-than-average-sized person or want a large roller, then this isn't the one for you. But if you're average-size and need a basic, firm roller, then this is a great one to choose.

Great a little bit small but works

This is a nice size and firmness roller. I had a different roller that I eventually threw away because it was a bit too big and was becoming misshapen the more I used it. This one feels like it will keep it's shape and is a size that better works with what I do with it.

This foam roller won't be replacing my full size foam roller. It's quite small and on the softer side This may be good for beginners or for anyone with tender muscles who needs something gentler. Because of it's small size and light weight it would be good for travel. This could easily fit in carry on luggage, unlike larger rollers. I've also found that this is the perfect size and firmness for stretching my neck. If you want a very small roller that's not too hard on the muscles, then this is for you. If you want something mostly for using on the back or you need something very firm, you may want to keep looking.

First, this isn’t quite 12” long by 4” diameter. (Also, the dimensions in the listing say 12x4x4, but as of this review – late December 2024 – the third pic from the listing shows it 12” long by 3” diameter, which is definitely incorrect.)Mine is about 11-3/4” long, with a diameter of 3-3/4” to 3-7/8” (it’s actually ever-so-slightly ovular; if you look at the photo I uploaded of it standing on end – taken straight down and level – you’ll see it’s slightly “wider” than “tall,” but it still rolls just fine). The slight shortcomings in dimensions, as well as the slightly not-quite-perfectly round circumference are pretty negligible in my opinion, but if it’s important to you, there you have it!Next, while I don’t have a way to test its PSI-related strength, I’ve used many foam rollers, and this feels less dense than others I’ve used. It’s not “squishy” by any means, but it does seem to have more give to it; I’d call it “medium” or maybe “medium-high” density. It doesn’t have any weird odors or anything like that, so that’s a plus. I find that the biggest letdown is that its “nubs” are really quite flat. It’ll keep it from being slick if it gets wet from sweat or water, but other than making it easier to handle, these flat little discs on it aren’t raised enough for me to feel they’re doing any “targeted” trigger-point work. The roller itself is fine for just rolling your legs/glutes/etc. after a workout, but it certainly seems like a more “low-budget” item. The color is a nice sky blue, not as lavender as it appears in the photo (of course, every monitor is different). It’s OK, but nothing to fanboy about. Thanks for reading; I hope that my review helps you out!
