too hard to use on new born pups i rather just cut and tie fishing string in place of these and mama dogs dont like them too much either

I just delivered a litter of 4 puppies. All of these clamps opened and fell off with the 1st 15 minutes. Tried replacing with new clamps, dame thing happened. Had to tie the cords off with unwaxed dental floss. Thankfully I had some in my supplies!

They do not stay on. They're way too big for a newborn puppies, even large breed. On wax dental floss is much better.

These are now part of my kidding kit for my Nigerian Dwarf Goats. I absolutely recommend these as a must have item. I had some very rough kiddings an after franticly using dental floss my husband found these. Highly recommend!

Got these as a 30 year practicing midwife.Will work well for preemie babies but not full term. For piglets maybe. Not individually wrapped.Not a good choice for born at home babies.Way too small.

As a breeder of dobermans its always good to keep items that may not be the norm for every litter. This is one of those items I chose to have on hand. In the end its just not the go to. Ill stick with string or non waxed dental floss.This is perfect for Pig breeding or animals roughly around the same size as a piglet at birth
