These are quite large hemostats, but despite their large size they are quite nimble and clamp down tightly enough to grab for example individual hairs. The locking mechanism is secure but still operable with one hand. Overall they seem well made and I'm sure would do well in either a surgical or veterinary setting or even just for use around the house as helpful grabbers. Cleaning them seems pretty easy as well.

Hemostat Set 2 Piece Curved & Straight 8" Is a nice set. I like that I get both in this set and don’t have to choose. I’m a crafter and I use these for various things, to help hold something in place, I also use them like I would a pair of tweezers but with the 3 tooth clip in place I don’t worry that I will drop what I’m trying to hold. I use them to help pull yarn needles through various fabrics. Nicely made and sturdy.

Product survived autoclave without issues (including no rust) and works as it should. Jaws line up properly and clamp stays locked in normal use until you unlock it. Looks to be of average to above average quality compared to usual Miltex and Cooper items.

These are a nice size. The jaws are even and they lock up right. Forceps are handy for all sorts of first aid, crafts, hobbies, and repairs. The possibilities are almost endless that you could use them for. I have a few different pairs of them and these are just as good, if not better, which isn't really saying a lot other than they're of good quality.

These hemostat forceps feel like a quality instrument. They have a nice smooth consistent finish to them with no rough areas, sharp edges (other than the serrated jaws and the locking teeth, which are appropriately "sharp" but not dangerous). They operate smoothly with no slop, and the jaws line up well with just enough camber in the jaws that upon first closing just the tips of the jaws touch, but as you apply greater pressure, the rest of the jaws begin to line up and touch. The locking mechanism provides the ability to securely lock the jaws closed at three different levels of pressure.The length of these is perfect for all sorts of applications, and if you don't have a medical/surgical need, they would be great for precise hobby work.

These Kelly Hemostat Forceps are a solid choice for a woodworker and conservator like myself. The steel construction is strong and springy, ensuring a reliable grip. The jaws align perfectly, and the sharp serrations provide a secure hold.The box joint between the tongs is tight, minimizing any potential slack. However, there are noticeable gaps in the box joint itself that might be a concern for long-term durability. Despite this, the forceps offer exceptional value for their price and are well-suited for my non-medical applications.

(than the price for the SinoPaki-nese crap that dominates the Amazon listings) you can actually buy this well-machined, properly-heat-treated, accurately-assembled, comfortable and fully functional locking forceps from the LawMed Care product line. I’m pretty stingy but can well afford to pass up six dollar crap to shell out an additional $2.50USD for a righteous quality item.
