If you buy 1/2" irrigation tubing at a big box store, they will not fit. I bought Orbit 1/2" tubing locally which is 18mm O.D., these Fittings are 17mm I.D. I had to sand them to get them to fit and working fine. Check your sizes carefully.

I ordered these to go on a kit that I ordered from Amazon. The kit I ordered had 4 connections on each of these and for some areas I just needed 2.These fit the China made hose without leaks and had the added benefit of fitting the hose that comes from American home improvement stores as well. The kit that I ordered did not work with that type of hose.These are put to fit so you have to push the 1/4" lines on fairly hard to snug them over the nipple, but the good news is there are no leaks.Overall, for a little more than $1 each you get 8 of these and they are leak free and work great with the 1/4" line emitters.

The 1/2'' to 1/4" drip line irrigation connectors were packaged loosely in a plastic bag. All of the connectors are constructed well and feel sturdy. Attaching hoses was straightforward and there are no leaks so far. Will have to see how these hold up outside.

I am very satisfied with these drip irrigation valves. Very good value for the money. The valves are durable and easy to install and work well with my drip irrigation system. The flow control helps me to regulate water in my garden. These are good quality valves and I have not had any leaks or issues. The 10 pack ensures I have spares on hand. These are perfect for setting up and maintaining a reliable irrigation system.
