Great addition to your irrigation tool kit. No moving parts, so using it in the garden and mud is not a problem. It’s fairly straightforward to use and works as advertised. Really like how it has in the handle of the puncher, grooves to be able to help hold onto the tubing when you’re attaching various adapters to it. Hands of gotten sore from trying to grip onto the tubing hard enough to insert the adapters, and this makes it a lot easier. Probably the most useful part of the whole kitAnd it’s not even advertised for that 😆

Nice pocket size punch and cutter especially if you’re doing a lot of 14” to half in drip lines connections. Found myself using the built in channel for leverage on the punch in various ways not advertised to great success. Turns out the channel was a great backer to us when pushing stubborn lines over connecting tines. Cutter is sharp and cuts clean and square. Ended up using this kit at the couch more often than the garden to pre assemble lengths of feeder lines. Pretty basic but useful and handy set.

I prefer the trigger style punches a bit more compared to these, but they don't last super long where this should be functional basically indefinitely. Sharp razor cutter and the punch has no problem getting holes started in normal 1/2 and 5/8 drip line. Can't really go wrong with any of these.

I have had a drip irrigation system for a few years now, and this tool would have been so handy at installation and over the years as I adjust or repair my system. The handle makes punching holes easier and holds the attachment steady so you can fully seat the tubing. This can be tricky at times, especially with wet hands. The cutter is a handy addition as well, no longer need to grab a separate tool to cut tubing as I can keep this in the kit with the rest of the irrigation tools.

This is really a nice punch tool for irrigation, comes with everything you might need like a cutter, punch and some drip plugs. I wish I had this last spring when I was trying to add some new lines to my irrigation.If you need one of these, this is probably the one to get.

The cutting tool is designed to cut 1/4" tubing and it does that quickly and cleanly. If you plan on cutting thick wall 1/2" tubing get a tool designed for that purpose.The punch is nicely designed, fits well in the hand and easily pierced the thick 1/2" line, you can then use the other end as an insertion tool which is handy. Also comes with a packet of barbs 8 of which are curiously labeled 'hollow paragraph' which go in the main line and 'solid model' that can join two 1/4" lines.

I am planning to place soaker hoses around all my raised beds in my garden. There are sections of the hoses that I want a make holes in so more water can come out. Those are the sections near shrubs and trees. This gadget is exactly what I needed. It will make holes much easier and more consistent than I could make using a knife or any other makeshift tool. I will be using this in the Spring. It looks simple and well made.
