Refractometer HR101 is ideal for proving extremely useful as a way of measuring industrial coolants such as cutting fluid, quenchant, lubricants, and fire-fighting foam.
It can also be used to measure sugar concentration in fruit juices, soft drinks, vegetables, and foods.
This model has an automatic temperature compensation feature which increases measurement precision which is performed at 50-86°F (10-30°C) instead of 68°F (20°C).

I use this tool to test my grape juice. It is doing a great job. I especially like the Teflon Coating because the juice you put on prism is easily spread out to corrode the equipment. Only 3 drops of the grape juice are enough to get the reading. It has been well-calibrated when it arrived. Super worth this price.

Used for Milling Machine Coolant. Was going to purchase from fastenal but they wanted 170.00 + for this product. These guys sold it for about 30 bucks. Works great.
