These covers work "well enough" to help keep the system cleaner. They're flexible enough that they don't hurt the stems of tender plants, and they do okay at blocking light. They really only cover about 75% of the opening, though, so their utility is pretty limited. Not sure if they're a really useful addition, or just another way to spend money on the hydroponics system.

The extra flexible pod covers are perhaps overkill for my needs, but they are not cheaply made and appear to be ready for the long haul. I definitely like the material they are made out of, as it does not appear to want to bend out of shape when used reasonably. I did stress test one of them, and it took a little bit of effort to break one; it was harder than I would have expected.I will be using these with all my future growing efforts, as they will help keep dust and contamination out of the system.

Update: After about 2 months of sprouting plants for my yard in my hydroponic growers, these work really well on my Mufga systems and I prefer them to the stickers. All but the tenderest plants can move the sections aside to get out and up with no harm to plants. Made by veterans which I love supporting - I'm a vet too! Price point good for a printed product but it would be great to have them produced in a more economical way to get it down a bit - I would need 5 sets to fill my two systems. Options for different quantities that fit the system sizes would be preferred - 8, 12, 18....I like that these are reusable and they don't have the stickiness that the sticker labels do. I sometimes find on tender plants, the immature leaves get stuck on the sticker labels and cause problems - these printed ones won't have that problem. These caps are very sensitive to movement which gives me an idea that they may move aside as the plant grows. I have tried them out on a few new seeds and will post back with pics of how the growth went. I am optimistic.

These are reusable covers for hydroponic pods. They fit appropriately on top of the pod openings, and are flexible enough that plants should all grow appropriately, though I have to wait and see how it works with something like lettuce that is wider at the base. I like that it will be something I can reuse rather than having to throw them out after each planting. They are very flexible, and if stressed too far will snap, but if you take care of them they should last a while.

Well the first thing about this is nowhere does it say how many of these you are getting. So I had no idea until they arrived. In case they don't update the listing, you only get 6 pieces! As for the construction, quality material was used and they should be durable for a long time. But the question for these covers is their usefulness. They are basically for covering your net pots, as they are too thin and flexible to provide any plant support. And they fit very nicely. But being so thin, they don't hold their shape very well. And with all the open areas, they still allow a substantial amount of light through. They are better than the paper covers, but I use 2" foam clone collars for the same purpose, and not only do they block the light, but they can be used for support as well. Considering I can get 100 clone collars for less than 6 of these pod covers, I will stay with the clone collars.
