Once I changed to this new part, my flushometer no longer leaks.Save a ton of money, instead of either calling a plumber or replacing the entire thing. This was a very low cost repair and high satisfaction both to my mind and to my pocket.

For years I bought and replaced the Zurn diaphragm when there was a water leak. Sometimes it worked and other did not. Often ended up buying multiple diaphragm models just to get the right one. Thanks to other reviewer, I gave this plastic cover replacement a try and it works wonderfully. Even though the old cover does not have any physical defects. ITS A BUY ITS A KEEPER!

Had a leak from my flushometer top that I could only stop with alot of pipe thread sealant and extremely tightening the metal cap. I replaced the inside plastic cover and the leaking stopped without needing "pipe dope" and just hand tightening the metal cover. After installing, I can take the metal cover off and water still won't leak, that is how tight the seal is with this new inside plastic cover!

It seems weird to select 5 stars which falls under the category of "I love it" ratings for a urinal diaphragm cap. "I love urinal caps" isn't something I'd ever imagine myself saying out loud anytime soon. But this is a great product. I bought a few of these to replace one that had produced a hairline crack and resulted in constant running. I made sure to buy extras since we have 8 of these in our complex and if one went bad then the others are likely to go soon enough. This became proven wise counsel as another one broke a few months later. Installation is super easy with a pipe wrench and flathead screwdriver. I'd consider replacing the diaphragm while you're in there already if they're getting up there in age.
