I bought this set of compasses to have in my classroom as a classroom set. The students enjoyed using them, especially because of the different colors. The measurements are easy to read with one side being inches and the other side being centimeters.

The ruler measurements are inaccurate, I recommend using a different ruler if you need precise measurements

We only used these in Geometry twice and pieces are falling off of them. The screws are not holding them together, and the clamp that holds the pencil breaks easily if the pencil is adjusted.

I bought these for a search and rescue class we teach and they worked well. A great price if you need a lot of them.

Used in a middle school classroom and they work fine. Easy to adjust but hold tight and don’t slide around. Fun colors

These are great and stay together really well unlike the metal ones I had previously bought. So far standing up to frequent class use. However, some of them are put together pretty loosely and so are difficult to keep in place while maneuvering, so I have to dig out my tool bag and fix that. Otherwise great.

Very loose, and won’t hold the pencil in place and won’t keep the same radius unless you hold it a certain way. I teach my students to clamp them with their hand like an alligator CHOMP. And move the paper, not your hand or tool. This allows us to draw good circles. That said, the 120 high schoolers that I teach per day will end up breaking 10 of these each day we use them as they are fragile and easily broken in half. That’s about $10 wasted per day of use.
