These are NOT 1/2” bolts, they are a metric size around 12mm but not exactly since the nuts don’t thread onto 12mm x 1.75 threaded studs, bolt threads into 12mm x 1.75 loosely so maybe it’s 11mm which would be weird. In any case the paint quality is cheap and there is no galvanizing that I can see. Save your money and just buy some bolts and nuts at a hardware store and paint them.

In the absence of brass lag bolts, these did the job, They were used on a picnic table seats for added appeal versus stainless steel bolts. How long the "gold" will last ! Who knows ? They are well made, good nuts and washers. Pleases the customer; More length variations would have been nice. Had to cut to fit!

Advertised as galvanized, but it's actually zinc plated. They're unsuitable for outdoor use and in ACQ treated lumber.Thread quality is terrible. Nuts have a hard time threading on. These aren't even standard 1/2"-13 threads. This is a cheap, metric sized bolt. 1/2" x 6" carriage bolts should have full threading. These only have about 2" of threading.Washer is way to small compared to a USS flat washer which should be used with a carriage bolt. The nut is also much smaller than a standard 1/2"-13 hex nut (see comparison pics)No grade markings. The head should have a 307A marking or the manufacturers stamp to be grade 2. This bolt has neither, meaning they do not meeting specifications for standard 307A or grade 2 carriage bolts.Poorly packaged with washers and nuts falling out of the box and a black residual smudging from the low quality coating.Summary: Stay away from this low priced set. This is just another cheap Chinese bolt being sold by a Chinese company. There are way better options out there.

I am amazed at the quality of these 3/8 x6 "stainless steel nuts,bolts and washers. Extreme value at less than half the price of what the big box stores are are charging. I'm looking forward to using these bolts to assemble a wooden 4x4 base and legs to my welding table

Used these for pergola but 4 of the nuts didnt work threads cut wrong wouldnt thread on bolts no matter how hard we triedFor the price i expected a more quality product . Luckly hardware store had in stock
