Purpose for Product: Securing 1/2" plywood to a 2"x4" wood frame.Procut Inspection: Sturdy plastic bag containing 100 carriage bolts, washers and nuts. Items are galvanized uniformly and adequately. Threading appears uniform and clean. Nuts appear uniformly machined with no visible defects. Washers appear well-made also. Bolt carries A307 rating indicating light duty application and will work just fine for my needs.Product Performance: Out of curiosity I installed one bolt into a medium hard 2"x4" board, and torqued it down attempting to shear it, I gave up after it buried itself into the wood. I broke one in a vise, it held up pretty well, took four 180-degree bends to fail. Not engineering test but a hands-on daily use test.Summary: Tough enough bolt for my everyday light duty applications. Galvanizing is good enough for an extended service life. Price is very budget friendly.

I ordered this for a custom gaming desk /simpit build in which I had to connect large sections of the desk. These worked perfectly. The pack is huge so I had more than enough to go around. I painted over the bolt heads, so they blend into the project perfectly. The washers and nuts work as expected. Great purchase.

Most importantly, this package of bolts, nuts and flat washers are an excellent value. Compared to the same amount of items purchased at a big box store, you'll save significant bucks purchasing this kit. The only problem I found, however, was the rare bolt that had misshaped threads. As an example, the one in the picture would have to be re-threaded or cut above the damaged part in order for a nut to be used.

I've purchased hardware 3 times from this seller (see my review on 12" 1/2 lag screws - top notch). There's no difference in quality and value with these lag bolts.
