The Zone No Holes Digging Dog Prevention STORY!
The founder of Zone Protects, Brian, is a chemical engineer. Years ago, while working in West Texas, he visited a friend's house. While sitting on the back porch, they noticed his friend's labrador digging up and destroying the flower bed. Brian remarked that he could design a formula to prevent this destruction.
Initially, Brian created a liquid formula and soaked wood chips (mulch) in it, calling it No Holes Bark (a playful name, right?). They tested it, and it worked! However, the process of soaking, drying, and applying the mulch was quite cumbersome.
Fast forward to 2017 when Zone Protects was established, and Brian's bark product evolved into Zone Protects No Holes Digging Dog Prevention Spray!

My employer has several Labs that LOVE to dig in the same spot. We keep his property looking like Disneyland, but these 'pups', have me repairing their hole several times/week.Today, I used a different product I also bought here. Ground Cayanne pepper. Wow. Strong. When I picked up this product at the Post Office today. I proceeded to drive the 1/4 mile to my house.As soon as I started driving, I detected a VERY foul smell. When I got home, I realized the smell was coming from this undamaged package.No, the container did NOT leak, but the large zip-lock bag it was in was partially open about 1 inch..I took it out of my shop, put it in 2 sealed 13 gal trash bags and it now sits outside awaiting me taking it to work tomorrow.I hope the dogs dislike it as much as I do!Be carrful what you wish for!

Not only does the product itself not seem to work, but the little plastic ring around the hose to keep it in place is too tight and actually punctured the hose, leading to no suction/pressure. Useless right out of the box.

We really had to saturate the ground with the spray and do so a couple of times but the dog does not dig in the sprayed areas any more!

This product is as described….very potent. The box it came in (thank goodness no other products were in the box) reeked of garlic. I had to leave the physical box outside and even though the bottle was sealed I only handled it with gloves.The sprayer worked for all of 30 seconds then broke. So I decided just to pour the liquid in a circle around the holes as well as on the holes.Honestly it did nothing. Also there was no precipitation at all to dilute the solution. So the yard reeked of garlic and the dogs dug anyway. Honestly their own poop has been a better deterrent….lessons learned. Stick to grandmas old tricks…they work much better!

I bought this for my dogs while growing grass, but they were unphased by this product. However, the bottle and sprayer are easy to use.

This specifically states that it Will not hard grass. WRONG. It has started killing our grass and it actually INTISED our 3 dogs to dig more and to roll/lay in it. To say the smell is awful is an understatement. Also when received the pump sprayer part did NOT work. Just save your money. This product is not worth it at all.

I tried a smaller spray bottle of this product earlier this summer and it worked great for my two little digging dogs. They did not like the smell and stayed away. You have to reapply after it rains or you water. I thought I would get the larger size since it worked so well. I have to say after my husband and I tried everything, we could not get the sprayer that comes with the larger bottle to work. I will just put the product in my own sprayer to use. I like this product but the sprayer is no good.

Two puppies that were digging everywhere, tried other things but nothing worked.I applied this to fresh dirt pile of dirt I put in the yard to spread around later, first thing puppies did was dive in nose first, sprayed the pile to keep them out for a day or two and they left it alone, spread the dirt out they anxiously waited trying to get at it, after I finished I sprayed it and no digging! It has been raining and puppies usually get after things in the rain but so far nothing they have not gone near it SO FAR. They are determined but nothing yet.Fingers crossed it has worked better than homemade remedies and other stuff I have bought.Only issue I have is sprayer not staying primed, maybe hose not staying down where it should be.

This stuff was awful. It leaked in delivery. The spray nozzle didn't work. I used my own spray bottle. I'd give it no stars if that was an option. Nothing about this product is even satisfactory. I sprayed the areas where my dogs dig and it did nothing. A couple days later I poured the remainder from the gallon container in the same places and absolutely no positive outcome. My dogs continued to dig as if nothing were there. To me it was a waste of money. I can't say anything positive about this product. We put their own dig turds in the ground and filled the holes. Guess what, no digging.
