The Baracuda T5 Duo from in-ground suction pool cleaner from Zodiac provides maximum durability and cleaning power. It utilizes the reliable Dura Life Diaphragm with one moving part to ensure a long lasting and easy to maintain cleaner, as well as silent operation. The Duo Disc System achieves a closer clean with two independent discs for enhanced coverage, greater pool adhesion, and flexibility. The fins allow unimpaired cleaning over lights, main drains, and wall fittings that may hang up other cleaners.
Adjust the wheel deflector as needed for fluid navigation around corners, steps, and ladders. The quick connector enables the wheel deflector to attach quickly and securely to the cleaner head. The T5 Duo is for use with Low Flow Pumps, includes twist lock hose for simple connection, can be used on all pool surfaces, and has 39 feet of twist lock hose (12 sections, each 1 meter long).

This vacuum's capability is mostly dependent on the suction power of your pump. Fortunately, a metering device to measure suction flow comes in the box. Unfortunately, the measurement device doesn't seem to be available unless you get the sweeper. My variable speed pump couldn't make the required "3" and I had to return this sweeper. I have every confidence that it would have been immune to the small grain silt that frequently clogs my mx8 elite. More good news; the hose connectors on t5 and mx8 are compatible. I had almost no problem with my return ... just had to send a simple reminder. Overall, a good interaction with a responsive company.

The plastic connecting the unit to the hose is very poor made, it broke when trying to install it had to buy new part from local store, to run it need more than usual suction and it gets stuck on the side of the steps and have to move it. If I had the box I would definitely returned it.

it is a piece of crap,the old model g3 worked 100 percent better than this one, and the leaf trapper, u might as well throw it out. I did.

I had a kreepy krawler and when it was running and was very loud with a clacking sound, so I thought I would try the zodiac T5 with the new interlocking hose. well on the good part it is quite running, but I have nuts the size of a walnut that sometimes get in the pool and it get stuck in the neck of the zodiac and I have disassemble the unit to get it out. I also have trouble with the unit that plugs in to the skimmer, it just appear that the parts don't go well together. I ended up keeping it but it requires more work to keep it up and running. If i had to do it over again I'm not sure I would purchase this zodiac again. might go back ot the classic kreepy krawler.

We've owned 2 previous Baracuda pool cleaners and they all have worked very well in our pool. The only reason I rated this a 4 star instead of 5 star is because it always seems to hang up on the steps. Other than that, it's a very good pool cleaner.
