After many years of faithful service by our original pool sweep of similar design, trying to keep that one going by purchasing even more replacement parts became unaffordable, cost-wise. After checking the reviews on numerous alternatives, I chose to purchase the VINGLI brand. It has been in service now about 3 months and has earned a well deserved favorable review. Setup and assembly was easy. I did try a couple of adjustments of the supplied clip-on weight(s) for the hose, but within a day or so, the pool sweep was running smoothly, covering both the bottom and some of the lower sides of our in-ground gunnite pool. Users who are less familiar with the suction-side pulsating diaphram type of propulsion this uses may need to try a few more adjustments, but the way this one settled in on a smooth and reliable pattern was very pleasing. I can recommend this VINGLI pool cleaner.

I was very hopeful about getting this. My husband has worked several hours with this. We even looked it up on YouTube. We can't get it to move around. it has only gone up the wall once. We have to move it around. It gets stuck in one spot a lot. I wish we could get it to work as other people has stated.

This pool vacuum is awesome for my above ground pool. I am impressed with the price and quality as well as it ability to clean. I have not seen it climb the pool wall yet but it may be an adjustment needed. Overall excellent.

Works well, easy to assemble and had enough parts/variations that I could figure a hose assembly/fitting to attach to my Doughboy skimmer without having to buy extra parts (I did have to use the adapter that comes with my Doughboy pool). The flow adjustment is very handy and works well. I played with the weights you attach to the hose a bit to find the 'sweet spot' for balancing it appropriately. The parts are all pretty much what I expected and decent quality. As with all of these creeper-type vacs, it can have a tendency to 'puff' the finer settled stuff on the bottom, but adjusting the weight placement can help with that. Although it has gone up onto the side walls on occasion and if I purposely put it there, it doesn't really get up there on it's own. I have large stairs in my pool and I haven't had any issues with it getting stuck. All-in-all, I am very pleased with this vacuum and really glad I bought it. It's been a huge help with maintaining the pool! It's a solid purchase.

I disliked the fact that the 2 diaphragms the item came with, both broke within 3 months of purchase and use. The first diaphragm I inserted stopped suctioning and moving about the pool floor and I didn't know what was wrong with it. I had to call a pool service company to come to find out why it wasn't functioning. That cost me a fee! Once they replaced the broke diaphragm with the extra one the item came with, it also stopped working in about a month's time. Of course, I knew this time, what the issue was and I took it out of the water and saw that this diaphragm was also now broke. I sent a message to company and received no response. Last week I contacted Amazon and stated issue with defective item and have neither received response from Amzaon. While the vacuum works wonderful, as long as the diaphragm is intact, the diaphragms do not remain intact and come apart at the entrance of water being siphoned. Please, somebody repond.

Let me first say, we purchased this at the beginning of the summer, roughly 6 months ago, and it's been a game changer.Living where we live, our pool stays uncovered and running all year long. It's a salt water pool so a bit easier to tend to in that manner vs covering up during fall/winter. We run this vacuum roughly 10 hours every other day or so, some days we run more frequently, especially in the fall. We have a large number of trees on our property, some that produce very heavy leaf droppings during fall. This vacuum has been up to the challenge and has kept our pool clean all fall. The skimmer basket requires frequent emptying but that is much easier that trying to manually vacuum the pool. Some of the reviews have said the diaphragm goes out too soon. Well we are about 6 months in and use it very frequently and the diaphragm is still running strong. If our vacuum ever gets stolen or damaged somehow, I will be buying this exact model again.

It works OK. it’s a little bit of a pain to put together and it requires the pool to be really full in order to function correctly… If the adjuster was slightly further down the line it would be a lot more convenient since the pool would not have to be totally full when you use this. Also you may need to loop the hose a couple of times in one direction or another in order for it to clean the center of the pool on a circular pool. But overall it’s a pretty fool proof Mechanism that you can adjust it to go up the walls or stay on the floor depending on the suction and where you place the weights… And you don’t need to generally move the weights at all once you find the right spot… However it seems that I have to adjust the coiling of the hose in order to get it to change up patterns significantly.A big plus for this thing is that the replacement parts are in expensive and the primary part is a diaphragm that is easily replaceable and they include in additional in the package… many compatible diagrams are available on Amazon for about $15The bug style vacuums are cool but there are only replacement kits for the internal parts so you’re usually looking at something like $50 if any part of it breaks… Which is why I went with this simpler model (and this us about 1/2 the cost). however I have to say the bugs aren’t a lot more plugged and play.
