Purchased April 2020 I thought I would try the Polaris 280 with the tracks I wish I would’ve bought just the wheels because the track keeps coming off it’s a piece of junk don’t buy it!!!!

Belt that turns the wheels keeps coming off and gets stuck stopping the wheels from turning.I do not see any adjustment for the belt, to fix this problem.Can't get any help from support, after 25 minutes on the phone and be transfer many times to other departmentsjust to put on hold for another 20 minutes nobody comes to the phone.Do not buy Zodiac f5t Polaris 280 Tank Trax W/Trax Pool Sweeper, It does not work.( - ) minus five

The track works wonderfully for about a mi ute or two and then slips off the rear wheel and won't move anymore. Serious issue.

There is water bubbling out of the quick connect - not sure if it is not hooked up right or if there is an issue. Moves slow and seems like it is not working. Does not sit flat on the pool bottom - leans to away from the rollers/track side. We don't know if this a suction issue or if it is a flaw with the sweep.

First off, I utilized a mod 280 15 yrs ago and the external drive wheel chewed up the edges of my plaster on most rounded edges (steps, beach, etc). However it did a great cleaning job. I recently purchased the mod 280 trax which utilized a rubber track around the two larger wheels on one side thus preventing the drive from touching any pool surfaces. I love it and coupled with a new booster pump, it does a fabulous job.

Bought the tank trax model and had to adjust the drive wheel to engage the drive spline as one side did not turn. 5 minute repair though. Otherwise great unit.
