Great replacement handle for high end SUP paddles!!

I was so excited when I purchased this. I purchased to use with my two piece kayak paddle which I was planning to use with my solo canoe. It fit inside the locking mechanism of my kayak paddle, so it provided me with two paddling options. I used one time.1. It made my hands black. Figured there was simply not enough varnish, so I was going to add more.2. Sadly I never got to use it again. Had the paddle sitting against the wall and it tipped over. The handle hit the cement and busted.Over the years, I've own other carbon fiber paddles and NEVER had broken a handle. This includes a fair amount of abuse to the paddle including falls on shoreline rocks, being tossed in the back of the outfitter van, tipping over the garage, etc. Seems this handle is too thin to provide any durability.Since I broke it, I sadly cannot return. I'd highly advise staying away from these handles if you are building paddles. Poorly made!

This will fit a 26mm sup shaft as stated. The material does seem to be carbon fiber. Although the grip part is thick, they shaved the insert portion down to 1mm thickness. This doesn't make any sense as this is where the pressure from paddling is greatest. If you want to permanently glue this in place, it could work. I don't have any faith that this won't break at the end like our original handle. You may want to reinforce this with Gorilla Tape around the handle and shaft.

Great handle. Light and well built, good ergonomics with a good grip making long paddles or surfing easy.

This is not made from real carbon fiber. It is plastic with film printing that looks like carbon fiber. Also, it is not a true 26mm o.d. so the fit is sloppy and loose. Remember when your mom told you, "If it looks to good to be true, it propably is too good to be true." Well that definitely applies here.

It's fine. It ships directly from China, so don't believe the "will be delivered by" information. They don't know, and you will get a response from someone in China when you ask, but don't expect details. After I ordered, delivery shot out to a month, but actually only took a little under a week.Worst part is that it doesn't fit. I bought a California board company sup board, and this handle does not fit into the tribe of the paddle. Further, it is thin walled, so can't be reduced in diameter.The quality seems good, and it is nicely made.
