It started with JJ
ZippyPaws' co-founder Jen adopted an adorable golden retriever puppy in 2003. Being the friendly puppy he was, JJ quickly won the hearts of everyone he met. Some of his favorite activities include sleeping with his paws in the air, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky plush toys.
As a business student at the University of Southern California, Jen wanted to leverage her family's 20 years' of manufacturing experience in the pet industry and her strong design background to create a boutique brand of pet products. ZippyPaws was established in 2011 and ever since we have created toys that embody JJ's best qualities: playful, colorful, and loads of fun!

My little dog loves these hedge hogs. All the other ones are to big for her. They are nice quality and can only find them at Amazon. My dog is a mixed jack Russell

Both of our elder dogs come alive when they get a new pack of their hedgehogs! We keep a stash because they like to tear out the squeakers and stuffing! They carry them around like babies. Gumbo & Daisy highly recommend these hedgehogs!

These are on the small side but our GSD loves them and treats them like little balls. He is relatively gentle with stuffed toys but if your dog is a chewer/ripper, then this is clearly not the toy for them. Surprised by some of the negative reviews - not sure what dog owners expect for a soft toy.

My fur-baby MUSCLES must have 3 Miniz Hedgehogs accounted for at ALL times. They are his absolute favorites, and he MUST have one with him when he goes outside for doing business. MUSCLES is 18 lbs and the size of these cuties are perfect for him! The 3 hedgehogs, his Lambchop-py and his human ARE his proud "pack". I continually need to have many hedgehog backups in case of loss or wear. NEVER discontinue these PLEASE!!

An review by Sophie, translated from the original Chihuahua Language by her MomI love these furry ball things. They have quality durable fur that holds up to multiple violent shaking and lickings when I pretend they are my puppies and groom them. They are soft so if I throw them, they don’t break as many things as a tennis ball. They are always glad to see me and are good to sleep with. The seams hold up but I will admit I never shred my toys, only shake and throw them. Eyes and noses have never broken off in my mouth. My mom has tried drowning them in the washing machine. I was very worried but they lived although I had to roll on them a lot to put the proper puppy smell back on them. The only bad thing about these is that they refuse to come back to you if they roll under the sofa. You can bark and bark and they ignore you. It’s infuriating.

they are great for dogs who love to stockpile their toys. if your dog has high prey drive might be a little too easy to tear up, but they're gonna destroy all their toys anyways. my dogs live to play hide and seek with these and find them and stockpile them

There was a little hedgehog out a few years ago, made of grey hairy material on back, grey material underneath, no legs, pointy nose, and big eyes, just the shape of a fat hedgehog - and they could not pull the bits out of the material - squeaker of course, and the loved them - they could roll them around and pick them up, and very cute - never been able to find any like that again, because all the others they can rip out bits that make a mess everywhere, where as these stayed intact - any chance of those being made again ? - and they were soft and cudley as well ?????

I never thought I'd be writing a review for dog toys, but here I am, absolutely blown away by ZippyPaws' Burrows Replacement Miniz Hedgehogs 3-Pack. My pup gets easily bored with his toys, but these interactive ones keep him entertained for hours on end. The hide and seek aspect is especially fun for him and brings out his inner hunter. And let's talk about the colors and squeaks - they're just so darn cute! As for durability, these toys have held up remarkably well considering my dog's penchant for destruction. I'm thoroughly impressed and highly recommend these plush refills for any small or medium-sized dog in need of some entertainment.

We've had the burrow with hedgehogs for like a year now and our little hunter loves it. She loves picking all the hedgehogs out and killing them one by one. They hold up shockingly well. We just got a replacemnt pack for a little reward but even the old hedgehogs are still going strong. They all still squeak and haven't been ripped to shreds which is amazing. The hair matts on them pretty quickly and they kind of end up looking like they have dreadlocks but that's cool. They have even gone through the washer a couple of times because Bailey's toys have a tendency to smell of death after a little while. They're a great size for her too. She's about 15lbs and they fit in her mouth without being so small that she might swallow them.
