I bought this as a gage gift for my boyfriend. It looks exactly as advertised. There is a squeaker in this (which he discovered and found hilarous). As for durability, I am not sure. I think if your dog is gentle with toys then this will work just fine for you. But my dog, a lab pit mix with a love for soft toys, would destroy this in under a minute.

My dog has fun with the acorn because he likes toys he can walk around with in his mouth and chew on. This has a squeaker that is easy to work and that is even better. The pockets for treats are small and can not hold much to snuffle for. I put some in the bottom also to give him more fun. We can toss the acorn around for play time together too.

I bought this pinecone-shaped dog toy because it was advertised as a treat-hiding toy. Unfortunately, the gaps between the layers are way too big to effectively hold treats, so it doesn’t serve that purpose well.That said, it’s an okay toy overall. For $13.99 with 15% off (making it $11.89 at the time of review), it’s a good deal for its size. If you’re not buying it specifically for treat-hiding, it’s worth considering as a basic chew toy.

I ordered this toy specifically because of its alleged "snuffle" features. There is no way to hide a treat in this toy. The pine cone pieces are too far apart and too flimsy to tuck a treat into. It does have a squeaker, but just 1 small one and it's buried in the middle of this medium to large stuffed toy. At its current price of $13.99, I find it overpriced and misrepresented. Can't recommend.

Good quality stuffy, well stitched, no chemical odour, and the squeaker is heavy duty. My dog's don't rip stuffed toys apart, they mostly just carry them around and chew until the squeaker "dies". The squeaker is not the traditional round ones and it's lasting better than most. Dogs love it, so I'm pleased too.

My dog loves the fluffy texture of this toy and the squeaker is very strong and standing up well to his chewing, but I would not consider a good toy for aggressive chewers. My dog is pretty gentle and he still managed to chew a hole in the fur after just a day. The inside is fluff filling, so I would be careful with this toy if your dog is known to eat things indiscriminately.Overall I think this is a good toy for gentle dogs.

My miniature Dachshund, Norman the Wiener Dog, absolutely loves his new hedgehog toy. He hasn't stopped playing with it since it has arrived in the mail. It is the perfect size for him & very squeaky. He loves his squeaky toys! He happily runs around the living room squeaking it. It is a durable & fun toy for him. He loves that it's furry & he can easily bite & squeak it. Another great Chewffon toy added to the collection!
