For $50 I expected similar performance to an Acetech, this only being a smidge cheaper, My $20 HT-X3006 chronograph performs way better than this- Only reads the speed of the first shot, any more shots will increment the shot counter but the same first value is repeated on screen- Any deviation of the shot path that causes it to hit the inner walls of the chronograph will cause it to shut off and half the time turn back onJust get an Acetech or the aforementioned HT-X3006, This would not be suitable at all for anyone looking to tech or use to measure for safety limitsEDIT: Seller contacted me, after talking I received a replacement which also had the exact same issues

Easy to use and works well. I don't think this is super precise but it is consistent. More then good enough for my airsoft equipment. If your rate of fire is too slow it won't register. Also when using a gas pistol you don't want to put it right up to the unit it can't read it well. Backing it off an inch works great. It records subsequent shots just fine.

This chronograph tests within what I would expect it to for the projectiles that I sent through it. Super easy to set up and quick results. Would recommend.

This item is decent, but feels kind of cheap and plastic. It’s very easy to use. The buttons are very self-explanatory. The display is easy to read. It’s functional, but kind of feels more like a toy than a tool. I think it’s accurate, but it’s kind of hard to tell when I don’t have anything else to compare it to. For the money, I think it’s a pretty good deal. The hole that you shoot your projectile through is a little on the small side so pay attention when using this so you don’t burst a paintball inside it. For the money I would recommend this.

Precise readings but I don't think it's accurate. I'll check the next time go to a field again. Consistently getting 410+/-3 fps but I'm expecting it to show 425-430 based on the last time I was at a field. I shot the inside of mine to test out another reviewer's comments that it shuts off. Mine seems to be okay and doesn't turn itself off, so maybe they were unlucky or a dud? Easy to use and light. The shell feels quite flimsy, but it seems to work acceptably.

This is at best, questionable quality for a $50 Chronograph. The readings are sometimes accurate. The quality of the materials feels pretty cheap. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this. Its too inconsistent to be used reliably. Not to mention that I dropped it once from around 4ft and it almost completely broke. Overall, wouldn't recommend this especially for $50.

I've often been curious about the muzzle velocity of my various pellet and BB air guns, so this looked like a perfect way to test it for sure. Unfortunately, my initial testing turned up some too-consistent results. By that I mean that firing my SigAir P365 point-blank (6" away) through the tester always returned one of two speed values. Given the fact the pistol is CO2-cartridge-powered, I would expect the speed to drop after at least the first couple of magazines. It's possible that I'm using it wrong, although that doesn't seem to be the case based on the brief instructions. I may reach out to the manufacturer to see if they can offer any insight.I also plan to test it with my pump-action Crosman 788-C BB rifle. Given the variable air pressure based on the number of pumps, that should also indicate whether this tester is accurate.I will update this review as new details come to light. In the mean time, I'm not very confident that this device accurately measures the BB/pellet velocity.
