If you don't send a BB through it or it doesn't see movement in like 5 minutes, it beeps and it's quite loud. It may give away your position. I can see this being used for Speedsoft or something where you're moving constantly but if you're in the bushes waiting to ambush something, I would get a different tracer unit.The unit works very well and all you have to do is turn it on/shake it and send BBS through it for it to work. I bought it because it illuminates Green AND Red BBs. However, the beeping is quite annoying.

This is a nice tracer, it works , I have an airsoft gun G an G Arp9 series 3.0, one issue with this tracer and gun is that the actual barrel is a little longer after screwing the tracer on, you need and extension or the barrel blocks the sensor inside the tracer and it just beeps and doesn’t light up, not an issue and I don’t know how other airsoft guns are , meaning if there barrel is longer or not . But I bought the extension package from Amazon and it works perfect . Again this was not an issue with the tracer but more with the airsoft gun

The Acetech Brighter series truly is impressive. It's hard to even comprehend how it has enough time to sense a bb is going thru it and blast it with enough light to make it glow (bright!) before it exits. The way to turn it on and off is a little eccentric: lay it dormant for a few minutes and it will "soft" power off, waiting for you to shake it a little to turn back on. Or you put a rod inside it for a few seconds to initiate the soft power off. I would prefer a hard power off maybe with a little button or something: if it's attached it's going to turn on eventually which sometimes you may not want but for the money it's an honestly impressive little piece of tech. Can handle full auto thru my Specna Arms Edge 2.0 at around 22 rps with ease.

Very bright tracer unit and very durable. I am forever hitting it on walls by accident lol and it's still perfectly intact and working great.

This was one of my first tracer units and I definitely used it until I couldn’t. It held up in downpours for outdoor play, it withstood lots of drops and falls and still held strong!I’ve had this for two years and it still hasn’t failed me yet!Only thing I did wish that it could have was instead of the nylon inner thread, I really wish it was metal. I always worry that I would tear apart the nylon inner thread if I rushed to put it on any of my airsoft guns. But so far it’s good still! Other than that, it’s really great!I’ve now bought two more for all my pistols!

I have used this tracer on aegs, blowback pistols, hpa builds, and more and it does not fail to light up bbs consistently and keeps up with high rates of fire. Installation is super easy, performs well for both green and red bbs, and is pretty cheap. If you're thinking about just grab one!

I am quite new to the airsoft scene but when I seen videos of people having these tracer units on their toys, I figured I would give it a try. It was even better in person! It also helps me see where my bullets are going, at first I was concerned because the green was SOOO bright that enemies could see where the bullets were coming from almost instantly. So when I used the Red Tracer bbs, it was bright enough for me to see where my bullets and not "eye catching" enough for the enemies to see.Will buy again if sadly this one ever goes out. (which I doubt)
