These are pretty darn good for the price and they are comfy. I have wide feet though, and I wish they measured wider. Seems all the dancer pads are this small, however. I also don't understand why all of these dancer pads curve in toward the bone joint at the two tips. I plan to cut it a little so it first around my first MTP joint better. I have used them both direct on my feet and on the orthotic insole (where I cut out a hole for my sesamoid, so this adds a bit of a cushioning, as the insoles are quite thin, so it doesn't offload enough).

not as good as the competitor product I used first... these don't stick to the skin as well, won't be buying again

A few days ago my right foot started to hurt on the sole and I could barely walk. After doing some internet research, I decided to buy these pads. They came the next day, I attached themAnd my pain was almost gone. I now can walk again. Thank you.

These gel pads are easy to use, clean, and maintain, and unless your feet sweat crazily, they can stay in place for a long time. As someone else commented on them, you could rotate the pad to relieve the pressure at the 2nd MTP joint area; however, if you have issues on both locations (the 2nd MTP joint as well as sesamoids), then these pads won't work. I am thinking about cutting the pads out so that they can work for those two issues simultaneously, but I haven't tried that yet, because I am not sure if the gel inside may spill out once they are cut. If there is a way to modify this review later, I will try to update how it goes.

I fractured my sesamoid - these gel pads have been my best friend. I position the cutout so that it is right around the ball of my foot and it takes a lot of the pressure off of my seasmoid bone. They stay sticky for a long time and are easy to wash (they stay sticky). I feel that these have helped with my pain quite a bit by offloading the pressure off of the sesamoid. They are very sturdy - I have been using the same one for weeks. Also, they are gel (not fabric) so they don't get smelly in your shoes. If you have a sesamoid fracture or sesamoiditis, I would recommend you try these!

This product has been a lifesaver. I workout 6 days a week. Between the punishment of running, doing various agility training exercises, country swing dancing and wearing heels to work every day, I had developed large hard masses under my skin in the padded area just below my first three toes. It was so painful it felt like I had big rock in my shoe at all times. I couldn’t escape the pain any time I put weight on the foot. I thought I was going to need to have it surgically removed and not be able to do all the activities I enjoy. I tried these pads to see if it could offer relief until I got a surgical consult. After wearing them consistently for a few weeks, it seemed as though the mass was smaller. Being skeptical at first, I decided to give it more time. By the 2 month mark the mass was almost completely gone. I have since ordered more of these. One pair I have attached to the heels I wear. They stay in place all day. The other pair I attach to my feet l and then put socks on as normal for my athletic shoes or boots. No problems with them shifting or coming off. To wash them, I simply run them under warm water with a small amount of a gentle cleanser so as to not degrade the adhesive properties. I, then tap them dry with a towel and resecure them to my feet or heels. I definitely recommend these. Buy multiple packs. You won’t me disappointed.

I bought two versions of stick-to-your-foot silicon pads to try to ease the inflammation/pain of Morton's Neuroma in my left foot. This is my favorite--distributes my weight away from the 3rd and 4th toes and is less noticeable in my shoes than the other--so I've been wearing the left pad every day for a few weeks (under a sock--haven't tried them in warm weather open shoes yet), washing it in lukewarm water every evening and letting it air dry. It was obviously not as sticky even within the first week but still stayed in place. Now it's barely sticky at all, though otherwise the pad is in excellent condition. I may purchase some sports tape adhesive to extend the use of it, see if that extends the use after the stickiness wears off. I don't want to have to repurchase these every month just to get two left pads and I also don't like the idea of waste--throwing away an otherwise perfectly usable chunk of silicon every few weeks.
