These are ok but very limited in use. First, the case they come in is pretty standard. Difference I saw this time id the inner foam was stuck/molded to the bits. I figure no big deal, it will wear off as the bits are used. I can live with that. In my experience, these are not very good for metal. I dont mean thick steel...I mean sheet metal. Only got a few holes before the first step dulls. After that, they are useless. Also, it's not just one size that has this issue as I've had the same thing on the 3 bits on the right side of the case. These are not made to last unless they are used in soft material.

Drill a pilot, and these are almost unstoppable - with a clean edge. The included marker (counter sink?) leaves a nice divot for a precise pilot hole.I don't even use standard bits in metal anymore, they suck. These are amazing and cut rather than scrape leaving a nice round hole.Jeep mods, trailer accessories, home projects. Haven't failed me yet OR needed replacing.

I purchased the set so that I might term out a hole in a steel beam by 1/8” and the largest bit just dulled and didn’t do the job. Very unhappy with product. Should’ve saved my money

This is my second set of these as I use them many times per week ..they cut good they stay sharp ..they can take decent abuse before they break..no complaints

I got this set of 5 drill bits last year in July to remove a broken bolt on my elliptical. The extraction was perfect - the center punch allows you to drill in the center of the bolt. Exactly one year later, another bolt broke off my machine (not sure if I'm breaking it with my almost daily overzealous use or NordicTrack could've built this freestrider better...) and I used the same trusty kit to remove that bolt. The tip broke off one drill bit during the last use, but I used another drill bit to start the hole, then proceeded to use the still sturdy slimmer bit to finish drilling. The HART easyout kit I have works perfectly with this drill bit set. Very satisfied customer. P.S. To any ladies reading this review --> we can do it!🙋🏽♀️

Great bits for the price. Holding up great with metal use only. The case is downside. The bits fall out every time it's opened!!
