I bought this because we always travel with an ipad and our iphones. After reading about a rash of phone/tablet batteries catching on fire on planes I decided to have one of these handy in my backpack just in case. I mistakenly though every plane had one on board, but that is not true. Now I feel a bit safer in the event a phone or tablet catches fire and this stores easily in my backpack. It's quite thin so it does not take up room. The peace of mind is worth it on long flights!

I have 2 fire bags and this one feels better and is a bit bigger. The folding flap has space for wires to come out during charging.

Works as intended (peace of mind). Although I haven't exploded a battery inside one yet so I can't speak to its actual effectiveness. Minus one star for having some type of adhesive residue inside, which appears to be from tape like the raw material was first/last on the roll and had a piece of tape that was holding the roll together that was peeled off at the factory and left a strip of adhesive behind. Cleaned off with rubbing alcohol.
