This is a great set of Faraday bags at a really great price. The bottom line is that these bags work, absolutely. They are stated to be waterproof and fireproof. I’m not going to test the fireproof aspect, but they are made of a textured, slightly rubbery material on the outside, and I’m sure that material is waterproof. The inside is what looks to me to be silver EMF-blocking material, like most good Faraday bags and other items are made of. These bags come in four different sizes. The largest one would hold probably just about any larger laptop. The second to largest would hold something as big as a large tablet or a very small laptop, like a MacBook Air (just barely for the MacBook Air). The one made for phones should hold most phones, and then, of course, the smallest one should hold a key fob or other smaller items.I definitely like the fact that the Velcro on these bags is not super stiff and scratchy. It’s much softer than some Velcro, but it holds very well. I have another Faraday bag, and I’m always paranoid that one side of the Velcro is going to scratch my devices, so I have to be careful with it if I use it. In order to be careful with a Faraday bag, you need to make sure that one end is folded over a couple of times and held tightly. This Velcro does work for that purpose.The purpose of a Faraday bag, in my opinion, is to make sure that no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signals are able to get in or out of the bag. The best way for me to test Faraday bags is to use a cell phone. I took two different cell phones and at separate times put them in all the bags except the one for key fobs. I then made a phone call to the phones, and the calls went straight to voicemail. That tells me that these bags definitely work. Modern cell phones are very good at catching any signal they possibly can, and these phones, while in the Faraday bags, were completely unable to catch the signal that a phone call was coming through.If you have the need for good waterproof and possibly fireproof Faraday bags, these bags could be a good choice, especially at this price point.
