The abrasive areas in the hone were worn out in less of 10 minutes of use. Very disappointed.

This thing worked out great. I was very impressed on how it cleaned the master cylinder I was working on. The downside is that I will probably never use it again.

Bought for a very simple hone on a small motorcycle engine. Cylinder walls had no scoring or grooves, I just wanted to clean them up while the engine was apart for other things. Unfortunately, this thing didn't last 4 minutes even while using lubricant. The stones are completely gone. I'll give it 3 stars only because it was the cheapest one I could find. I got what I paid for, so I guess I can only blame myself...**Update** After leaving this review the seller contacted me and offered to make the situation right. Wasn't necessary but they did it anyway, good people!

certainly not a professional quality tool by any stretch. It did, however, do exactly what I purchased it to do. I did some work on a chainsaw cylinder and this small unit did fine. Likely be a long time before I use it again, but I'll have it and it'll be ready to go. Good purchase for the price.
