These matched round over rail and stile router bits have a 3/8" Cutting depth and can be used to cut stock between 3/4" And 1" Thick. 1/4" Shank. Rail and stile door construction has been around for centuries and is the most common way to build doors for cabinets and furniture. Our rail and stile router bits will enable you to create your own frames for frame-and-panel doors. Cope the ends of your rails with one bit, and then switch to the second bit to route the inside edge profile in all your door parts. Now the center panel can be inserted and the door can be assembled.

These produced a very good finish on 140m of white oak with rail and stile joints. I didn't want the expense of a new 1/2" router so bought two sets of bits; having read other reviews I was expecting the first to either dull beyond the point of use or snap. I was actually able to send the second set back because the first was still producing a decent finish at the end, albeit quite a lot less sharp.I found the key to using these with my feeble 550W router was to do many passes - certainly no more than 1/8" at a time. It was a bit tedious passing the same 140m of wood past the router four times but that's the quid pro quo of not buying a better router. The resulting finish was excellent. A brilliant bit of kit.

I bought this 1/4" shank combo set and another raised panel bit from the same manufacturer and quickly broke 2 out of 3. Having said that, since I already started with these, I needed to use the very same brand to finish the job, so I bought another set of these and another raised panel bit. Be careful to not let these catch the wood by going to deep at one time, I found 1/8" max depth cut per pass is best, any deeper and you run the risk that the bit will catch and possibly snap. These are 1/4" shank bits and snap easily under pressure, so go slow. I am probably very lucky I was not hit when the one broke and flew away, the shaft on the other one just bent so as to be useless, so be careful. Next time I was buy better bits and probably 1/2" shank bits.

These cut absolutely perfect for me right out of the box, Nice box also,,, I used a Sears Mini Shaper,, 7/8 Hp... Was able to chuck them up past the Minimum mark, after a couple of test passes,, I found the right height and went to town,, I assembled 17 doors in 5 hours... Not as quick as a commercial set up,, but then it doesn't cost 400 bucks either... I was working with pine so I expected some tearout on the ends, and there was some,, might have been perfect with a hardwood,, but my budget dictated I use what I could afford,, so pine it is.... Sharpness was excellent,,, Quality of bits was excellent,,, Do check the nuts for tightness,, mine were tight.... Product was Excellent....... Shipping Sucked but what do you expect for FREE,, you money back..... I'm Very Pleased with Product....

I used these to make some very attractive replacement doors for my outdated kitchen cabinets. I'm not bragging about my skill because I had never made cabinet doors before, but with the two Yonico router bits and a cove bit I was able to make cabinet doors that looked identical to the doors that came on a manufactured base and wall cabinet I bought from a well known hardware supplier. So instead of buying 23 new cabinet doors for $75 to $100 each I was able to make all 23 of the doors for about $10.00 each.

Ordered and received in good time. Both bits were contained in a nice wooden display box.Needed it for a project so I used them right away. Or at least tried...First bit worked great but on the first pass with the other bit, the shaft shattered just below the cutting head and sent the bit flying across the workshop.Put a nice dent in the drywall but luckily enough, it didn't hit me.I've never seen a shaft break like this and hope I never do!Returned the set and received a the replacements in good time but it was the next weekend before I could get back to the project. No issues with this set and they cut great!

Bought 2 X, thought first time maybe I was part at fault. I purchased a 2nd set..worse than the first. A 1/4 shaft is not very good for the size of these cutters. The first set snapped off the shaft and flew by my face putting a hole in the plywood behind me. The second set the shaft bent in the router. I purchased a speed control and lowered the rpm s thinking this might of caused my first set problems.
