  • 55 gallon: Our oil drum heater is suitable for most 55 gallon (200 L) drums
  • Thermostat: Heating temperature can be adjustable between 30-150 ℃ / 86-302 ℉ (the temperature setting dial is in Celsius). For plastic drums, the heating temperature should be lower than 80 °C (176°F)
  • Advantages: Our barrel band heater has larger power and heating area, heating is fast; connected by elastic springs, installation is a breeze
  • NOTE: Make sure the barrel heater is tightly attached to the drum before heating, and the heating set should not exceed the value on the dial of the thermostat
  • Wide Application: Can be used to heat the oil, honey, binder, grease, paint, paraffin and pigment in the barrel, suitable for all seasons

We purchased two of these barrel heating belts for the winter to heat our pig waterers. The belt works well. The water is even warm. But the plug is very poorly made. The clear plug pulled off the wires in the cord before it was even plugged into the outlet. My husband reattached it but not sure how long it will last and am concerned that it will be a fire hazzard. Contacted the company and am waiting for a response.
