I was skeptical that this would resolve my CEL but I had a plugged cat causing actual performance issues so I went ahead and picked this up. I was pleasantly surprised with the fitment, installation was easy, and after a couple hundred miles the CEL is still off. I only gave it a 4 star because the heat shield on the right side cat was missing some tack welds causing rattling upon install. As there is factory heat shielding above the cat anyway I just ended up prying this shield off to stop the rattling. All in all, great value for the price.

2005 Chevy Tahoe, Z 71 5.3 LM7 this fit perfectly, I couldn’t find much on the Internet about the fitment of these but so I wanted to write this review that they do fit 2005 Tahoe and it came with everything I needed. You don’t need any seals. You don’t need to buy anything extra that had everything with it including the spring screws.

I purchased this for my 2002 Chevy Suburban LT with the 5.3L Flex Fuel engine. It was listed that it is an exact fit through Amazon and Yitamotor. I am someone who does a lot of vehicle work out of my house, and have a lift to make this job much easier. I have experience with replacing converters and this one was the worst I have ever tried. I have a mechanic friend who looked at it when I was stuck, and he agreed that it would have to be cut in at least 2 places and reassembled to make it fit.The pictures show the best we were able to do which would still cause an exhaust leak in the middle connection, the passenger side manifold down pipe, and the rear flange going to the muffler. My truck has never been damaged and the frame, mounts, and body is straight. The hardware and gaskets included are adequate, except for the rear flange doesn't get one from the factory. You can see it seals from the inner connection and the outer flange doesn't do a thing. Without my lift, this normally easy swap would have been near impossible, multiplying the swearing 10-fold. The pipe is not flexible in any way and it took a lot of effort to get it as close as the pictures show.Unfortunately I began the install a few days after the 30 day Amazon period expired, which made me contact Yitamotor directly for assistance. This has been a nightmare. Their website is vague, and they have you fill out a customer support form which does not work. I tried that twice and both times it had an error and did not submit. They also require pictures, but the form does not allow you to upload them. Excellent.My next step was to email them directly with all the information they requested on the form with a basic request to return it for a refund. They responded within 24 hours with a request for more information. Included in the information request was for me to have a mechanic look at and estimate what it would cost to have the DIRECT FIT converter MODIFIED to fit? Let's process that for a minute.....Ok. I sent the information of a $200 "modification" cost, and they offered $30 towards having it modified along with an apology that it didn't fit. No option to return it. I replied that I wasn't interested in $30 covering a $200 bill, and requested to have it returned again. They replied with a $50 refund offer and an apology which still leaves that gap of $150 and no option to return it. I replied again that I would like to return their $190 converter that did not fit as they advertised, which will now cost me $390 to use it. Still no reply for the past 6 days from them about that offer.Due to Yitamotor's early handling of this seemly easy issue, I ordered a different manufacture's converter off a different high-volume website for $90 more than this one. I had it installed with absolutely no issues and everything fit as advertised!In summary, spend a little more money and avoid the headache and the 3-days you can't use your vehicle while leaning another life lesson. I gave it one star for the welds on the pipe looked good and the materials appear that it would last for a few year. I almost gave it another star for the life lesson it taught me, but that would be too generous. I am more than happy to update this review if they make things right.Lastly, if anyone has the misfortune of their vehicle sustaining front end damage that has shrunk the distance from the engine to the muffler, let me know. I will send you brand new, never used, "Direct Fit" converter. Cheers!

I bought this for my Suburban and precision auto did the installation they said the quality fit and size was just right.I've been driving for a few months and it works just fine. My gas efficiency is way better now. I do recommend this purchase and know that it does need to be assembled. Great price way cheaper than the part stores. I buy Amazon auto parts all the time.

Easy enough to install. No welding involved. And does the job.

Fixed all the codes, is better than the replacement that was on there, looks like it'll last awhile and my mechanic said it was a straightforward bolt on install. 10/10 would buy again.

Works as intended and fixed my misfire issue (old one was clogged really bad. )Idk how long it’ll hold but for all intents and purposes it seems fine and I would’ve gave it a 5/5 especially for the priceThe reason I didn’t is because I was given a wrong sized o ring (had to use my old one) and the donut didn’t come with a little mounting bracket nor did it fit the old one.
