I spent hundreds of dollars on trying to keep mosquitoes out of our backyard. I live in South Florida and have mosquitoes year-round. I placed the bug zapper about 10 feet from where we are hanging out and have not had a mosquito issue since. It’s easy to clean and a highly recommend you make the purchase.

I like the style and ease of use. We were trying to deal with fruit flies. They are so small, they leave very little residual, but we did see a dramatic reduction in their numbers.

Worked immediately, instant relief from fruit flies! sits on a side table and while it has a brightish light is not actually visibly intrusive. buying a second one!

During the hot weather we had, the flies and mosquitoes decided to come inside. I tried several ways of getting rid of them, but every night my wife and I were getting eaten alive. I bought 2: one for the kitchen and one for the bedroom. Not a mosquito, nor fly in site! The zap is pretty quiet. Just enough to know you got another pest! The light on the bottom is a nice added feature. Plug in is easy, so it can be moved outside to the patio when needed out there. Bugs migrate to it especially at night. Turn the bottom light off at bedtime and the blue glow acts like a nightlight. Works great! Perfect size.

I want to start by saying that this product works great for attracting most flying insects and I do plan to buy another one for my garage. HOWEVER my initial reason for buying this was due to my mosquito problem. After being outside on my backporch and this thing zapping insects like crazy I decided to put it in my garage where I tend to see a lot of mosqitos. Turned off the lights and let the zapper do it's thing. After about an hour I went back to check and imagine my surprise when I turned on the lights to find about 20 mosquitos chilling on the wall directly behind the zapper but making no attempt to fly into the zapper. Upon further research I have learned that these UV lights are not as effective in drawing in mosquitos as other flying insects. So there search continues for my mosquito problem but since I live in the country with every flying insect known to man I will be keeping this one and purchasing another one for my garage.
