Just starting to try and use this product but found out after I got two client site and unpacked this that they do not include a battery for the remote control! That is just absolutely super super cheap

This heater has a simple and elegant appearance. It uses black gun material, which looks very textured and can be well integrated into various indoor and outdoor environments. It is moderately sized and compact, which does not take up too much space while effectively providing heating functions. It also comes with a small remote control, which is very convenient to use.

I’m extremely impressed with the heater. The build quality is great, and it’s surprisingly powerful for its size. I’ve been using it indoors in my garage, and I only need to turn it to Level 2 to keep the space perfectly warm. Even on colder days, it heats up the area quickly and efficiently. With Christmas around the corner, I’m confident this heater will keep my garage warm and cozy for gatherings and projects. Overall, a fantastic product that exceeds expectations—highly recommend it!

I purchased this to go out on the covered enclosed pergola cat porch for the abandoned now-wild cat. I currently use an infared coup heater in his cat house and an infared repti-bulb outside on his cat house porch, to heat the structure and cat. Trying to keep the air heated is an exercise in futility. This winter is already hitting just above negative digits and I wanted a larger infared heater to offer a wider span, in addition to help melt the snow on the 16mm twinwall polycarbonate while keeping it at a warmer temp. Additionally, the idea of the remote on/off was nice, however my unit faces away from the window so I have to go outside to see if it actually turned on or off. Note to self lol. This unit keeps the snow from icing up along the back side on the pergola polycarbonate on setting P1 nicely, if I point it as high as it goes upward. It makes snow removal much easier as well. When the cat is on his porch, I point it downward. While it does help the interior temp by heating the objects, the downward angle is not enough to target the floor where he is at to effectively heat him. It heats your upper torso nicely however. At night when it is frigid temps, I increase the setting to P2 and use the timer to adjust the amount of time on this setting. This setting puts out a lot of infared heat. I have not tried P3 yet. I will have to wait until next month to see how it affects the heat bill. Some things to note;It is not ceiling mount and cannot be mounted directly on a ceiling, nor can it be mounted vertically. The remote does not come with a 2450 battery and you will need to purchase one to use it. The unit can be manually turned on/off and settings programmed at the unit itself however.Based on the mounting heights - 19.6" from ceiling and 70" from floor, I had the exact recommended height to mount it. On P1 setting in upward most position, it does not adversely affect polycarbonate at the 19.6" distance. The unit itself gets quite hot to touch around heat output areas, but does not put off enough back heat to affect the temporary 1x4 it is mounted on (replacing with 4x4), in either P1 or P2 settings, in upper or lower positioning. I did notice the allen wrench bolts are not holding tightly after repositioning it after two days of continuous use. Something I may need a step ladder to investigate. Most users will probably keep the unit in one position after mounting however. Also, the cord is kind of short and affected where I intended to mount it. Something to keep in mind on mounting heights above 70 inches, as well as electrical outlet locations. My exterior outlet is 56" directly below unit cord and only has about a foot of excess to move it further away at current mounted height. That was not enough to mount it over his cat house as originally intended. It is not recommended to use extension cords or tapalines.I purchased a fire detector to go outside, being the unit is used all night while sleeping. The pergola is wood after all and things can happen... The outlet is gfi protected, so that helps. All the above aside, I am overall pleased with the unit and would recommend.

Good grief, you don’t include a battery for the remote. One wonders how many people just happen to have a CR2450 battery laying around.
