Beach is a pretty hard wood, but there was a noticeable difference in bite after only 50 feet of use. it seemed it was chipping the edge more than cutting it. I had to buy another one to finish the other 50 feet.

First of all, yes it is not a Whiteside or Freud router bit but these two companies do not make a particular profile I was looking for. This one was very close to what I needed for reproducing an antique accent table. I purchased two just in case I needed a back up due to the possibility of inferior carbide used. Well I must say, still utilizing the first bit even after many hours of use. Have not yet required to touch up the cutting edge. The quality of the cut is fine in Poplar and I think it will go a long way in hardwood also.Smytty's Workshop

I bought this bit to create a paneled door look for some cabinets I built for a customer. I routed 6 doors total and I can't use the sixth door. The bit burned out and material started burning.
