I've been a fan of stainless steel litter boxes ever since I first tried them maybe a year or two ago. The clumps don't stick the way they do on plastic, and the steel is far more durable than plastic. I've replaced all my plastic boxes with stainless steel ones. Up to now, however, the only stainless litter boxes I've seen have been the same size. They're generally fine for small or average-sized cats, but for larger ones, or multi-cat households, something larger would have been welcome.Well, the wait is over, This box is as large as the largest plastic boxes, and there's a lot to like about it. The larger size means I'm not having to scoop quite as often, and it's easier to scoop because there's more room to maneuver. It comes with a LARGE step panel that goes in the front to collect litter from paws before it scatters. So far it seems pretty effective, except my problem cat, who pees outside the litter box when she's unhappy with pretty much anything, just peed where she shouldn't have, and the only change has been the addition of this box with the large step. So I've replaced it with the small step from the litter box it replaced and hope that will do the trick. (The other cats have had no issues with it.)The only issue I have with the design of this litter box is that the scoop holder is in the back, and I've got this box under the staircase, so there's no way I can reach the scoop and have had to use the standalone scoops that were already there. But depending on where you're planning to locate the box, this may not be an issue for you.Overall, I like it a lot.

I have some other litter boxes around the house in bedroomsm and added this one to the mix. Some cats stay in one bedroom a lot, others in another bedroom, but the middle living room area is like the "all cats hang out" area, so I wanted a large "main" litter box in living room area for 3 cats to use, and this has done well. The large size is perfect for the 3 cats and the stainless steel makes it easy to clean and doesn't retain odors as bad as plastic ones I had in the past.The step does well catching litter when the cats step out. And the high sides are easy to remove and put back on when cleaning. And it having the spot to store the scooper is a nice addition. Very happy with this large litterbox.

I love the extra large litter box for my two big cats. This box gives them more freedom to turn around inside doing their business. Not only that, it reduces the "accidents" when cats run out of space. It also provides enough room for cats for finish their scrubbing and burying ritual afterwards.

I got this XXXXL litter box because I have a maine coon and he is huge! This box could fit 3 medium size cats that's how big it is. Has high walls to keep the litter in and a "porch" for my cat to step on and off to not track litter with paws. Stainless steel so it's easy to clean. Overall this is a great value as it gives him the extra room he needs. Very happy!

Huge stainless steel litter box with raised sides and an open top. The spacious box has plenty of room for large or multiple cats. The box is very easy to clean with it's no stock surface and no odor absorption. Great litter box!
