I have a 20lb cat who I just rescued. Being so voluptuous she has problems navigating her tushy. I think she thought she was fully in the litter box but would pee outside of it. I bought this litter box and all that stopped! She has no problem getting in and out of the box, her urine stays inside and it's roomy enough for her. We are very pleased with the durability of it. The stainless steel keeps things from sticking on the bottom and sides, making cleaning it much easier!

I used to have to line the floor and walls around my old litter boxes because one of my cats insists on backing himself into the farthest corner to do his business. The problem? I use pine pellets, which break down into powder and expand when wet, raising the litter level over time. If it got too high, he’d end up missing the pan entirely. This stainless steel litter box has been a game-changer. The high walls prevent any accidents, and the larger size gives my cats plenty of space. It’s lightweight for its material, making it easy to empty—even with used litter, though it takes a little patience. I use a 13-gallon trash liner in a 5-gallon bucket, which works well (as long as I don’t miss). Technically, I could dump the pine litter outside, but after one awkward encounter with my neighbors, I’ve decided to stick with the bucket method and take it to the trash!Overall, this litter box is well-designed, durable, and a huge improvement over my old ones. If you have a cat that likes to aim high or back into corners, this is definitely worth considering!

I will NEVER go back to plastic litter boxes! It's not as heavy as I expected, but definitely heavy enough, that I expect I'll never need to ever buy another litter box! The routine cleaning is SO much easier, because nothing sticks to this stainless steel litter box. That also makes for faster and easier complete change of litter with washing it out. The attachable sides are high enough that even my big Jaq doesn't scratch litter outside of the box. That little step to help keep Jaq from tracking litter out of the box ....well, would be great, if only she would use it! She just steps right over it! LOL. YES! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAKING THIS PURCHASE! IT IS WELL WORTH THE COST!! BTW, I paired it up with the long handled stainless steel "pooper scooper". This, too, makes cleaning my cats litter box a breeze! (And, I'm in a wheelchair! That's why I really like the long handle!)

I really like this litter box because the clumps don't stick to the box, and the high sides mostly contain the stray litter. I still get stray litter in front of the box, because my cats just jump over the little slits at the front that are supposed to collect it from their feet. This litter box is superior to the high quality plastic one I replaced, for ease of use, cleaning, and odor control. I wish it was a bit wider, but overall I'm very satisfied.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this cat liter box. It's spacious, easy to clean, and the design is super sleek. The tall sides prevent from any liter spilling out, and the entry way is perfect sized for my cats. It's very durable and doesn't retain orders like traditional plastic liter boxes (which is a huge plus). It was really easy to assemble (the base, cover, and a scoop) and is easy to maintain. It keeps everything neat and tidy and my cats seem to like it too, we have purchased 3! I highly recommend this litterbox for anyone who is looking for a reliable solution for their furry friend.

Long story, I keep being told by doctors I have a relatively short time to live but continue to stay alive so after my dear Basset hound passed away, as did my daughter's cat that I had kept. And I found I no longer had the stamina to care for my much adored 14 yr old parrot that I had hand fed for 18 months when he was a baby and allowed his out of cage time to be pretty much any time I was home but as I needed more and more rest I just couldn't keep up the care for him anymore and we both were terribly depressed. But I had found a wonderful sanctuary for him (besides 50 parrots mostly uncaged, it is a true heaven of animal chaos and he seems to be happier than I could ever have hoped. But I was terribly lonely without something to cuddle with - so I went to the local pound and said "I want to adopt your oldest female cat" - and so I met Tippy, a VERY anxious 8 yr old spayed and declawed cat that appeared to be in excellent health. I guess she had been adopted out once but the couple couldn't tolerate her occasional pooping on the floor. I have no objection to cleaning that sort of thing up as well (it's FAR easier than cats that spray) and thought I would try to figure out what the issue was. Well 8 yrs later and the only reason that seems to consistantly cause that behavior is if she has already pooped once in the litter box and could see it. So I do my best to daily remove anything that needs to be removed. She's also far happier with non-clumping kitty litter as long as I keep the wet stuff stirred up and all poop removed each day plus I doubled the size of her litter box when I bought this huge thing. My former cat had only weighed 5 lbs but for my 10 lb Tippy it was a bit cramped so I bought this monster of a litter box after readling that a cat's litterboz should be 1 1/2 times it's length - written by a woefully out of touch veterinarian since even this very large litterbox is about the same length as she is and it was the largest in the store. She has always been super adaptable to new litterboxes (it just took her 2 weeks to come out from under the bed for the first two weeks I had her but at night while I slept she ate and used the litterbox without any problems. Few people have ever seen her other than me and her vet. So she's still a shy girl. At age 15, I can tell she's slowing down tremendously since she sleeps about 20 hours out of 24. That's ok. At night she still sleeps next to me and purrs beautifully in her sleep. We are so very close. She still occasionally has the poop issure, but only if I haven't removed the prior poop yet - so it's very seldom. Older cats are just so loving and so much less destructive than younger ones - we both move at the same slow speed. I do hope I outlive her since I haven't yet found a suitable home (due to her declawing it would be difficult to put her with other cats and she doesn't need any losses at her age. My daughter has 2 clawed cats but will take her and somebody is home all the time to watch out for fights - so crossing my finger's she'll will pass naturally in her sleep sometime between now and when she's 20 and I will do my best to stay alive for her sake. Anyway -great litterbox, just buy it.
