I had a rung collapse once and it dropped down on my other foot. Very painful! Maybe it was just me? This ladder is much heavier than I expected, too. The locking mechanism for the rungs is finicky. I was disappointed in this ladder.

This product is great. Does not take up much space and is very sturdy for what it is.

This ladder is sturdy and feels safer at 15 ft than other ladders I have used. Collapsing makes this ladder easy to use indoors compared to stepladder. Just watch your fingers when you close it down or you’ll get pinched!

It works well. About twice the weight of a regular extension ladder. Not a bid deal when it's compresssed but a challenge when it's extended and you're trying to move it.Set-up looks easy on the website but when you slide the tabs, it doesn't always slide, so you end up fiddling with it, which is dangerous because if your hand is between the rungs when the "guillotine" comes sliding down, it's gonna hurt. Set-up and take-down is definitely a hassle and a bit dangerous. It's a lot more "noddle-y" than a regular ladder. Mine was 15.5', so maybe the shorter ones are more sturdy.Still, it's an impressive design and compresses to a very easy-to-store size but all things being equal, not as good as a regular extension ladder. You give up ease of use and sturdiness for storage size. One other complaint is that they advertise the "reach height" quite a bit, which is the height that you can reach when you're standing on it, which is confusing. I'm used to seeing the ladder length advertised. If I want a 12' ladder, that's what I'm looking for when I search.

Short and sweet, this ladder is sturdy and works perfectly. I was looking for a quality extension ladder for home use. A contractor at my house was using one of these. I tried it out and was impressed enough to dive in and buy it. Don’t regret it one bit. Easy to use and sturdy. In case you’re wondering, it’s pretty heavy.

I did a lot of research before buying this, including watching videos on line. I decided it was worth going for a high quality produce and I have not been disappointed. Reasonably compact to store in a flat; durable; manageable to operate. A professional roofer borrowed it when he was here doing some work and was very impressed.Downsides are the weight and the operation of it, which takes some practice, and of course the price. But I am very happy I bought it.

I initially bought a similar ladder that was about $100 less expensive than this one, but I didn't trust it so I returned it to Amazon. This one is great! I guess you get what you pay for. The locking tabs are really nice and easy to verify that they are indeed locked via the green circles. I used the ladder to paint my 18' high stairwell. It worked great and I always felt safe and confident while using it. It works as advertised and is of very high quality.

I have used this ladder for several outdoor house maintenance tasks. It has been easy to telescope up for use. When it is retracted it is as easy to move and carry as a suitcase. It stores very nicely (not taking up much space) and can fit into the trunk of a car. If the ladder is only partially telescoped up then there is one high step upon first climbing the ladder. In my opinion the positive aspects of the ladder outweigh the difficulty of the first high step in this situation. Be sure to read the instruction sheet and pay attention to how to place your hands when retracting the ladder to avoid a pinching hazard.

This ladder blew my mind in the best way possible. For how tall it extends, it is light, easy to extend and easy to compress. It feels very sturdy eve in its most extended form. Do not go cheap with collapsible ladders. The price is worth the quality and ease of use!!! Hands down my most favorite ladder.
