Easy Installation
Step 1
Remove lid and insert refill waste bag. Then replace the lid back to its original position.
Step 2
Pull waste refill bag out and through the center of the cartridge.
Step 3
Tie a knot at the bottom of the waste refill bag. Insert into cat litter waste system.
Step 4
Ensure tied knot is at the bottom of the unit and return the unit to its original position.

Overall not a bad set of refill bags. They fit the system that I use and the bags are standard quality. As long as the bag doesn't easily rip then that's all that matters for me.

I have been using a Litter Genie for years now, and I swear by them!! I can't understand why anyone would NOT use them. They make the chore of cleaning the litter box so easy!! I have a multi-cat household so with 4 cats using their litter boxes all day and night, the genie makes it easy to just stop in and shovel out and that's it! Also the refill bags are pricy if you purchase the Litter Genie brand all of the time! Oh no, I am not going to do that! This is a great value for your money and they work great. If you have no cartridges but need to get refill bags, then you should start with a deal such as this one because it includes everything you need. Once the refills are all gone, simply keep the cartridge they came in, and your next purchase only needs to be the refill bags. They are very easy to refill, you just pop the bags in and that's it!! Perfect! You save a ton of money!

I've been using the litter genie replacement bags for a couple of months and I'm not very happy with them compared to the alternatives. I've used the name brand refills, as well as other "knock-off" brands, and these are my least favorite so far. They fit perfectly into the litter genie, so compatibility isn't an issue. The reusable cartridge is a mixed bag. It's nice to reduce the plastic waste, and it makes them easier to store. However, the process to refill the cartridge with a new bag is a bit tedious. It's really the bags themselves that I don't like. They are thicker than other refill bags that I've used, and you'd think that would be a good thing, but hasn't proved to be. These bags somehow seem worse at odor control despite being thicker. Additionally, the thicker bag creates more friction when filling, and the bags struggle to settle down into the litter genie as they fill up. On multiple occasions I had to open the litter genie and manually pull the bag down into the storage chamber; I couldn't rely on gravity to do it for me. Given that there are other options available at similar prices that work better, these don't seem to be good value, and I don't recommend them.

I ordered this pack of 8 refill bags for my Litter Genies, but my first delight was that I actually received 12 bags! Well, technically, I received 13, if you count the bag film in the refillable cartridge. That already boosts the overall value of this set. I didn't use these refills right away because I already had the regular brand-name bags in each of our four Litter Genies. So I haven't used them long enough to fully judge how well they work in all the various pertinent aspects, but so far, they're great! They were well packaged, and the directions for changing the cartridge are printed right on the front of the one provided. I have used refill bags like these in the past, and many come with no instructions or information at all, so it's refreshing and helpful that these do. Unfortunately, they do not come with instructions for refilling the cartridge itself! The good news there is that there's a video right here on Amazon that shows you how to do it, and it's easy enough, so no worries about that. It also gets much easier with practice. The film seems strong and durable so far, and I haven't had any problems with leaking odors. I will update this review if my experience changes, but for now, I think these are great refills, happily recommended!

As some others have mentioned, these generic rolls are a bit tougher to get started than the brand name Litter Cleanup bags, but once you get it it works fine. If you're willing to go through the headache to save a few bucks, this is definitely an option. You also are using less plastic if you can get the refills to work, so that is a plus

This is fantastic! It's a great way to cut down on waste and also a cheaper alternative to litter genie bags. This comes with one of the plastic bag holders. It opens up (I struggled at first then realized it was quite easy to open when I stopped trying to complicate it) and you take one of the bags that came with it. You simply take the bag and place it into the holder. Then pull a bit to get it started, put the lid back on, and that's it!The bags seem to be as sturdy as the more expensive brands and you get a lot more for your money. You get the one plastic part and 8 refill bags. You can always hold on to the plastic part and shop around for bags if you wanted to.I really like this.

The litter genie is the best thing ever and having off brand refills is just the bees knees for sure. so happy to have alternatives to the pricey contraptions. They work great. nice substitute for sure.
