This is the perfect cat parent product. I keep it right next to my desk and it never smells. Once a week I change the bag when I do my regular deep cleaning and give the outside a quick wipe down with a Clorox wipe and it’s good to go for another week. It makes daily scooping SO much more manageable especially on the second floor. I don’t go through nearly as many grocery bags and doggie bags are forever too small for any scoop to fit into without making a mess. The size of this product is perfection! It’s moderately sized and super lightweight. The scoop attachment is fantastic! The only thing I would change is it maybe add better instructions for the initial use. I ended up on YouTube to figure it out. Once you “get it” it takes no time at all. I have one of these for each of my litter boxes. I would recommend one of these per two cats and weekly bag changes.

There are eight cats running around between myself and my boyfriend and our three roommates, so this thing has been amazing. We tried using a trash can with a locking lid, but it ended smelling as bad as a dirty litter box. This keeps the scent in entirely, until you have to open it of course, but I’m overall very pleased with it. It makes cleaning the litter box much more convenient because I don’t have to scoop everything into a plastic bag and take it out right then, and since it can sit in the container until trash day rolls around, it keeps our garbage can from constantly smelling like cat litter. I’ve already recommended this to one person, and I’ll continue to do so to anyone that has a litter box to keep clean.

This does hold a good amount of litter and will keep the scent in. Serves it purpose as advertised. Litter genie is sturdy strong secure enough to keep the dog out of the trash inside. It doesn't take up much room and practically weightless when empty. There is a little opening at the top like a little handle to grip/carry or move if you need it. The refills can get spendy but seems like they last quite a while. It does require tying the bag when setting up and if the knot is not secure you will end up with a mess. It's fairly simple easy and quick. to use overall but requires some attention to little details. I'm happy to have this for convenience and feel good knowing I don't have to worry about the dog getting into the mess.

Parfait produit, surtout lorsque l’on travail de nuit. Arriver je ramasse le tout dans la litière pour tout mètre dans l’a poubelles et je ne suis pas oubliger de ressortirent dehors pour marcher jusqu’à la poubelle, à toutes les fois que je travail de nuit. Très très bon produits, je met le tout et aucune senteur, même lorsque je réouvre la poubelle aucune senteur, je suis fan de se produits. Seul choses, ses que pour les sacs de rechange il en na pas dans les magasins où je suis donc je commende tout sa sur amazone, sa arrive assez vite et bonne qualité.. j’ai deux chat et ses parfait, super Fan de se produits!

This really does work and has made a huge difference to storing used cat litter until bin collection day!!I have one cat and easily used one bag to tie off after two weeks.Highly recommend

I have to say, I wasn't sure I was a believer in this product, but I definitely needed it or something like it so I wanted to try it out.PROS:Odor Free- I've been filling it for about 2 weeks now and it is not emitting any odor. I imagine that may be partially the quality of my litter (I'm using Blue Buffalo Walnut Shell litter, and it's already incredible at suppressing odors. That said, when I open it to fill it up (the sliding part that seals the bag when not being filled) I definitely can smell it so it's doing it's job for sure.Size- It's really not very big, yet somehow has not filled up yet. It's not unpleasant looking either so that's a plus.Easy set up- I read the quick instructions and it wasn't too hard to figure out, it was pretty straight forward.CONS:The litter scoop holder- doesn't stay put as well as I would like. You have to put it in between the two sections of the main body when setting it up, and I noticed it didn't seem as sturdy. I have been careful with it, but yesterday it fell off so now I have to try and figure out how to ensure it stays put. That said, it's truly a minor problem, as I am happier to not have to put the scoop on the floor.When filling it you have to pull the slider out to have it go into the reservoir to seal it off. It's very clever, but I find that I have to shake it so that it all goes in the bottom because the plastic bag likes be a bit difficult. It can be tricky shaking it while holding the slider part. It would be nice if there was some mechanism that locks it in place.For the sake of the review I have been nit picky but I'm quite pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it!

I am in love with this product. When I first got my cat, I thought "how great would it be if they made something like a Diaper Genie for kitty litter." When I saw the commercial, I immediately got on Amazon and ordered it, for an extremely reasonable price! WAY more reasonable than purchasing in the store. When I ordered the Litter Geneie and a refill together, I received a $5 off coupon I was able to use immediately on my order.While I was a little concerned at first at how lightweight the product was, it quickly snapped together and is sturdier than I first thought. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. The packaging says it can hold up to two weeks worth of waste, but I prefer to empty it out each week. The bags are thick and there is no odor once I have dumped that cat's waste in to the container and closed the lid. The litter area doesn't smell any more, and even my husband doesn't mind scooping now that there is a sealed container in which to put the cat's waste. The small bags fit neatly in with the rest of our garbage and, again, there is no smell. I highly recommend this product to cat owners.
