This cable was extremely easy to install and fit perfectly in my 2022 F150. I am using it for a Uniden R8 but I am sure it is universal. I was very close to buying a more expensive cable but I am glad I didn’t as this works so well

This was used on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. I did pin into the rear-view mirror connector. For my car the pins were the black wire for ground and the pink/yellow wire for hot. It was the harness with the smallest pins that worked immediately. My Uniden R7 lit right up.Prior to attaching this to the car I hooked it to my lab power supply to be sure it was wired right on all three assemblies and all were correct.The build quality of these harnesses are excellent. It is not cheap material and so far, it is reliable.Notes:1- You will have to do the leg work to find the pin outs for your car.2- There is the risk your car connector may not be pin-able.3- Use the tie straps. This will protect the pins from getting damaged.

Does it have an inline fuse like it says in the description , I think not . does it work still , yeah it does. The mirror in my truck is on a fused circuit so it should be fine , but there is no way there is an inline fuse in these.

2007 BMW 3 series - used to tap power from dome light electrical connectors to radar detector mounted with suction cups to top of windshield. Good quality wires and pins. For my application, having the leads a few inches longer would help position the detector exactly where I want it - the dome light electrical connectors are in the cluster but away from windshield. But no complaints. Would and will recommend.

These cables are nice and slim and priced far lower than the mirror tap from Blendmounts. It was super easy to install the mirror tap with the smallest pins into a 2024 BMW X1 and it's working well with an Escort Passport Max (If you're worried about my suction cup falling, a permanent adhesive mount is on the way).I used the included zip tie to secure the cable to the mirror's wiring harness.I would recommend these wires.

I was doubtful about these being easy to use. But it was a piece of cake installing them. They worked on the very first try. They could be a bit shorter, but I just wound it around the mirror base a few times and it is not hanging out where it could get pulled lose easily. This was a heck of a lot better than paying an installer to run wires for me, which these days would cost a couple hundred dollars to get done. I'm very happy with this purchase!
