If you have an e-bike and you ride bike trails you may be acquainted with the fast road bikers that come up on you with no warning. They say nothing. Not even a “on your left.” This radar unit is good for cars (and sometimes alerts for trees and signs) but it doesn’t make a peep for five road bikes coming up on you at 20 mph. Not a peep. Battery is good as is brightness and modes.

Wired this is to my front loading cargo bike. I use this bike in traffic and to commute to work daily. It’s a great tool to have to be more aware of surroundings. It’s also been helpful on group rides to be aware of cars when I’m often busy chatting with friends. It was easy to wire - I did it myself. The most difficult part was fishing the wires through my seat post and frame. It connects well with my Garmin Edge (I swapped out the stock unit on the bike for a Garmin). I’m so happy with the set up. The flashing light is bright and I like not having to charge it one more thing because it’s hard wired.
