I love this mount. Eventhough it's a more permanent mount (I'm not moving it back and forth between vehicles) it is so much better than relying on a suction cup. Easy to position and sturdy. So far so good!

Everything about this seemed well built except the magnet that the Escort mounts to. it popped out nearly immediately and would not keep the Escort 360C Max secure...

So the S650 has a thicker base for the mirror mount so I loosened the screw all the way and threaded a few in and installed it and tightened it up a little and it’s secure. Next thing is the magnet mount it’s a little bigger than the magic mirror aluminum mount as I have that in my other car but it’s 100+ dollars for it so I chose this one for my Mustang. Other than that it stays put doesn’t fall off the mount. Overall it’s a good buy.

I've had this mount for about 10 months. It is strong but the detector is basically on a long "moment arm" and vibrates / bounces up and down a lot. I finally put a rubber band around the top of the mount and the bottom of the detector and now it vibrates a lot less. There are two tiny screw that connect the plate that direcetly interfaces with the detector to the bottom of the mount. One of these recently fell out and the detector started to swivel to the right and left being only held on by one screw. Remarkably, I found the screw that had fallen out. I replaced both of the screws with some (blue) threadlocker to help them stay in better in the future. I noticed there was another tiny screw in my bag of spare parts that came with the mount. So don't throw the mount away if you lose a screw. Look for another one in the bag of spare parts.

Finally, my expensive radar detector won't come crashing down every day!!!!! This thing actually works....well!!!! Installing was a ten minute affair. No problems!

As per other reviews, the magnet base is too big and does not fit properly in my Max360 MKii. I will have to file down the magnet base, as others have done.

I paid four times as much for a worse mount than this. The people who designed this mount did a terrific job. I have four patents myself, so I appreciate good design. The 1/4 adapter with the threaded interface allowed me to mount an Escort Dash Cam along the side of the Escort Max 360c. I can't say enough good about this mount although the magnet could be slightly smaller. I trimmed mine for the 360C.

It is a well made mount and would have 5 stars if it actually fit the escort 9500ix like it claims. The tab to slide into the detector does not lock and is loose. Moves around while in the detector. It holds it, but doesnt hold it tight or lock it in.

I had higher hopes for this detector mount as I used one of a similar design for an older detector. Unfortunately, this one lacks the counter-pressure bar that my older one had, which would stop the vibration while driving and minimized other failures. Additionally, the screws that hold the detector's tab to the rest of the mount are vertically installed. This means that after some vibration, they will fall out onto your dash when they loosen and you remove the detector from the mount, slipping into a vent or the seam between the windshield, never to be seen again. Allow me to also say that I confirmed that the mounting tab was properly inserted and locked inside the detector and verified all screws/fasteners were tight before the first drive. After about 1.5-2 minutes the detector had a vertical shake to it (from the detector mounting plate) and grabbing the detector with minimal force/pressure, I could wiggle it from side to side. Within the first week one of the vertical screws fells out. I believe the vibration is what caused this to happen, leaving the second screw barely holding on.Overall, completely disappointed, but not completely surprised given it's prove and origins. Ultimately, this is a case of you get what you pay for. I recommend that folks spend a few extra bucks and get a better built unit. Hope this review was helpful.

Stays exactly where I put it. My radar detector bobbles over bumps using this thing, but I'm used to it now. It doesn't move up and down so much that it bothers me.
