It is the best power cord replacement. It does what it supposed to powering the radar detector. The USB ports are outstanding though. The 1 amp port is bang on 4.2-4.5V 1A and stable. The 2 amp port is the same. I have logged as high as 1.9A which is better than other USB ports in the car with QI and SMart. The port glow is a perfect level of brightness. It is not a distracting glow. The only "imperfection", probably to make sure it fits the variety of electronics it's for, is the length of 3.5mm power connector. It shows just a little bit of silver when plugged in to my 480I. The original sits flush. It's not something to be unhappy with. It is literally the only thing not perfect about this product. Very happy and thoroughly satisfied with this product.

Worked as described formula 3.5 mil jack radar detector. Found it was a little to deep for my cigarette lighter however in my car, so I am returning this but it works perfectly fine and is a good purchase otherwise.

My original cord for my uniden radar had broke and this was a perfect replacement . I actually like it better than the original because it has 2 usb ports on it . Will definitely be my go to replacement

Prong that plugs into the radar detector is long. Powers the detector without issue, but does not sit snug up against the body of the detector.
