- If broken part has no hole, carefully center punch.
- Drill hole 1/2 size of broken part.
- Insert extractor; grip hex portion with wrench; turn until extracted. Broken part comes out quickly and easily. Can be used with universal, impact or other wrench.
NOTE: drill bit and socket adapter are not included.

I used them 1 time and they worked great but when I went to use them again the edges were rounded off. I had to order other sets and still might have to possibly cut the bolt be rude this kit just made the whole worse.

For all those that said these are junk or don't work, you are wrong! I bought these as I had a stripped bolt on my 2004 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG. I had to remove the pulley (2 of them 1 bolt) and the plot was stripped. I drilled the whole according to the suggested size and added the easy out and with the help of Kroil Oil (best oil I have ever used) and tightening it slowly it was able to remove the bolt! Clean threads and this little kit saved me thousands of dollars! I recommend these and see images! Time to clean everything up and buy a new bolt and fix my water pump!

Very useful set to extract transmission drain and fill plugs. An example here is an extracted BMW E90 - 328i transmission drain plug. Due to overall rotation wear and tear, expect these heads not to last long. If one head spins and does not extract the plug, I move on to the bigger head and pound it in, then rotate.Worth every penny. Solved my problems. On the photos: extracted drain plug next to a new BMW transmission drain plug and set of tools used.

Rescued me from a potentially frustrating task of extracting the end of an air compressor valve that had broken off in the thread of the tank. I inserted one of the proper sized extractors, and within a couple of minutes the stubborn part came off. Quality seems robust and does the job!

I recently purchased the XEWEA 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set with high hopes for a reliable and efficient tool to make my repairs easier. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disaster.Upon using the 5/32 and 1/8 bits for the first time, both bits broke off inside the screw. To add insult to injury, the screw was drilled out to the specified measurements, following the instructions meticulously. This unexpected mishap turned a simple repair into a nightmare, as I now have to undertake the time-consuming and frustrating task of drilling and retapping the bolt hole.The quality of the Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel, touted as heavy-duty, proved to be highly disappointing. Instead of providing the strength and durability promised, the bits failed under what should have been standard usage conditions. This not only resulted in a waste of time and effort but also forced me to invest in additional tools to rectify the mess left behind by the XEWEA set.The product's claim to be a "Hex Head Multi-Spline Easy Out Bolt Extractor Set" fell flat on its face, as it clearly couldn't handle the job it was designed for. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied, and I would strongly caution others against considering the XEWEA 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set for any serious repair work. Save yourself the headache and opt for a more reliable and trustworthy alternative.

2021 Subaru Outback Onyx edition. The drain plugs on these are a cheap soft metal. It's a defect. Took it in for an oil change at a 'quick lube' place preciously. I go to change it this time myself. They stripped bolt head. Also saw they used lock tight.So we're jacked up. Keep in mind in have a very strong grip. Channel locks, nope. A good fitting set of vice grips, nope. Mangled it more. In all my life I've never had this issue with any drain plug. So I order some slanty flower style sockets that you hit on. When you rachet it bites in. Metal is too soft. Chews it up. Enter this ez out set.Tonight I drill a 3/8" hole, then counter bore with a 1/4". Tap one of these bad boys in. Took 8 minutes to do the drilling. Then another to carefully seat it. And we're loose.
