Found it looked nothing like it did in the pictures and have tried it in a few different cars now and all fail to connect at the same code

This does exactly what it says, its reliable, and powers up automatically on vehicle startup. It also retains the last gauge setting so once you set it up it stays that way. Can read and clear codes as well albeit the button is small and unhandy, but then its not supposed to be a daily scan tool.One minor issue, it does read the Fuel Input Level which I think was supposed to show Fuel Level but it has proven to be erratic, everything else is accurate though.

I will say I love how compact this gauge is. also, it is in color and has an array of features. that being said the two parameters I was looking for, engine load and throttle position is not very accurate. for example when I'm idling it reads a 40% engine load. and with the a slight push of the gas ( slow acceleration) it reads 70%, full throttle with foot to the floor reads a max of 86%Throttle position is off as well. max throttle is 80%EDIT: Oil temp is not anywhere near correct as well. This morning cold start read 138 degrees when outside temp was 48 degrees.

Did not connect to my 03 LX470, maybe it's because it's a Land Cruiser or just a little too advanced. Nothing against the product as it didn't work on mine but heard great detailed reviews on it.

My dash was reading way off but the computer is reading correct so i bought this as a temp fix while I debate new stock panel or dakota digital (both expensive options) This little guy installs in seconds reads quick and accurate and actually has lots of features like reading/ clearing codes. I'd definitely purchase again.

Instructions are really lacking. Set it up with engine running or it will continue to time out and turn itself off. Watch the few videos for it on youtube to go along with the limited instruction manual when you first set it up (really helped out in my case).I needed a speedometer in line of sight with digital readout -- this fit the bill perfectly and at a low price point. This unit also allows for some additional readouts and I was able to add oil temp and a digital readout of battery voltage. Check the manual on AUTOOL web site to see what is available for display on the gauge. You may find that this gauge doesn't hit everything you'd want and may want to check into something at a higher price. But if basic stuff like outside temp, fuel level, RPM, speed, fuel pressure, oil temp, oil pressure, engine coolant temp, is what you need this is something to consider.In addition it does pull OBD trouble codes and clear them. I did not review the "vehicle performance test" menu options for acceleration and braking. The top row of lights is (I think) for shift points -- I didn't set this part up. The bottom row of lights is a choice of either RMP or fuel economy MPG. It offers a lot more than I needed or want for the vehicle I put it in, but if I needed exhaust and trans temps or one of the dozens of other bits of info available in my OBD this would not have worked. But, for the money and for the basic info it does provide (if that's all that's needed) it's a good buy.3 month update, July 2023: The X60 alerted me to increase in engine/coolant temp rising higher than it should while at idle at stop lights and sitting in traffic. Turns out high speed on my radiator fan is on its way out so kinda saved the day by letting me know early on. If I had an extra $100 I'd have probably opted for a scangauge 2 over this, but for $44 this gauge is still a good buy in my book.12 month update: still going strong!
