I wanted a digital readout for my older car and this seems to be working great, you need to make sure you have the right port to plug it into as I don't really trust the "GPS readings" they say it can output but if you can read it from the cars computer it works great.

It gives me speed, and that was what I really wanted. The rest is ok. My biggest issue with it, is you can see the unlit segments. I'm going to see if I can apply a screen that will only let the light from the segments through. They are bright enough to handle a little dimming from a cover screen. Fuel consumption is metric only. So, that's useless. Temp is ok, but not something I really need on a HUD. I can also see it on the instrument cluster clearly. My main need for a HUD speedometer is the fact that it is hard to see the speedometer gauge on my car when my hands are properly placed on it. This way I can glance at the HUD without leaning my head to see the speedometer on the cluster. As for the HUD visibility itself and performance, it is not as good as a native HUD. A native HUD is recessed in the dash, and the displayed data appears to float out near the end of the hood. This means you don't have to readjust to looking at it vs the road. With this HUD, you have to refocus on it and then refocus on the road. Also, the reflective windshield application does not look great. It is dark, and only partially see through. I tried not to use it, but I got reflections on both inner and outer glass surfaces, giving a double image.Like I said, this thing is OK.

It is easy to installed. Nice little HUD to display information. Easy to read even in the direct sunlight. But the speed does not match car speedometer. The unit have a little higher depend on your speed. Like if you car speedometer is 40 this unit may show 41 or 42, at 75 mph show 78 mph.

Don't waste your money. This product is junk, it doesn't keep time after you turn off the vehicle an turn it back on . It's a 24 hour clock which I hate. the mph is not accurate at all. You can adjust it but no matter what you will always be 3 to 4 mph off . Lastly the GPS signal absolutely sucks, you be driving and you'd lose signal and the unit goes to 0 until it finds GPS signal again. I do not recommend this product

I like this unit because it not only shows the speed but the second option that it can show, and is selectable, is very clear as well. I have the clock showing. The secondary display shows in blue the speed shows in white. It does not require any HUD film to be stuck to the windshield because it has an adjustable HUD attached to the unit. The gps speed is easy to adjust to my speedo.

I really liked this thing. The clock appears to only work in 24 hour time, but I have enough clocks that this is not even to the level of "minor annoyance". The speedometer matched my phone GPS out of the box with no calibration and the glass panel is slick with enough brightness to be visible when the sun is shining directly on it.My problem is that I bought the unit primarily for the odometer. For some reason Dodge didn't see the need for a trip computer on the '65 Dart, and I use it to keep track of fuel economy. Took me a few days to realize that I was not actually getting 45mpg out of my 58 year old car. When you adjust the units of measurement, it only adjusts the speedometer side. The trip computer is still measuring in kilometers. Also, it has no onboard memory so every time you turn off the device it resets to zero. Too bad, otherwise it's good enough that I am seriously considering just keeping it and doing the conversion when I calculate.
