Considering a lot of newer cars are actually coming with this function built-in the fact that I can buy it and add it to my early 2000s vehicle. It just gives me peace of mind the ability to see my speed without having to look away from the road is priceless.

Wasn't expecting much but I thought I would give it a try. The display is compact and easy to install except that the USB cable is way too short to route around the dash. The display is plenty bright and has a nice auto-dimming function which dims the display when light conditions fall but I find it still too bright at night. When the sun is overhead, I found the face of the display reflected a lot of light reducing the display contrast considerably but you could still see the speed. Where I am, it picked up satellite signals in 12 seconds which leads me to believe it doesn't acquire more than 2 or 3 to start working. The instructions are woefully poor as you get with most "made-in-china" goods but aren't really needed as it's simple enough to figure out. What makes it unusable is that it isn't very accurate or linear which is bizarre since it is a GPS speedo. When compared to my vehicle's speedometer and my iPhone running a GPS speedo app - both of which agree, this unit is consistently displaying higher speeds. At city speeds, it only abut 2Kph higher but at highway speeds, it’s 5 to 6Kph higher and the faster you go, the more it's off making it both inaccurate and non linear and not useable as a speedometer.

I’m going abt 20 to test it out, and it’s saying I’m going 38. But other then that I guess uk the main factor of the thing it’s dope like it’s really sick I love it just wish it was accurate. Very easy installation. Brightness can be changed will 11 different settings. And readability is very clear.

Works great, plug and play. I tried using it without the piece of "Tint", but you can't see the readout during daylight. Once I installed the small square piece of tint on the windshield, it was great. I used velcro to attach the unit to the dash so it won't slide around, and the wire was long enough for me to hide it behind and under the dash right up to my usb port. Speedometer is close to dead on with my cars actual speedometer. Cool little item

Heads up display worked great for about a month and then just stopped working one day. I tried plugging it into a different usb port, and tried it in my other vehicle and it just won’t turn on anymore. Not very impressed. Can’t seem to contact seller or Amazon because it’s more than 30 days old since I purchased.

I was concerned at first about this unit displaying on the windshield as it should. After install, the speedometer works perfectly even without installing the small mirror lens they send with it. Would buy again!

Because of the reflective film I can see the number clearly even in bright day light. I think that's what sets this product apart from other hud products.I just set the reflective film a little below my eyesight and I can read the number without looking directly down at it. Lovely!No more need to annoyingly keep looking down at the dashboard every few seconds to check the speed.Speed reading matches accurately to the actual speed. I set the speed discrepancy adjustment to 102 and it's perfect.
